DAILY DEBATE: Do we go over 9.5 wins?

We will.

Because we HAVE TO. This is the year Cristobal elevates us to the next stage or we see we are stuck.

Miami can’t be stuck. Canes get 10-11 wins.

I don’t understand why people think 9 wins would be a failure, like thats another step in the right direction

I never have any idea what these numbers mean. What should I take from these two screenshots?

It's how much you win or have to lay on a $100 bet.

So the first screenshot, it says Under 9.5 is -145. If you want to bet the under, you have to put up $145 to win $100.

Or you can bet Over 9.5, which is +120. If you want to bet the over, you put up $100, if you win, you win $120.

Plus your original bet, of course. Basically you hand the sportsbook $145 if you want the under, if it wins, they give you back $245 (your original $145 bet and your $100 win)

If you want the over, you hand the sportsbook $100, if you win they give you $220 (your original $100 bet plus your $120 win).

I promise you young Padawans, there was once a time that we always won more than 9 games - even when they just played 11.

Only way 9 wins is a success imo is if we’re in Charlotte.

9 wins and make it to ACCCG, or 10 wins is a successful year in my opinion. ACC schedule ****ery could hit us again, but 10 wins in back to back years would have to be seen as success regardless.

I still have us between 8 and 9 (regular season) wins, so the under for me. We are for sure dropping a game or two that no one sees coming.

Prove me wrong Mario and co.
I feel you skipper and can't disagree...but I'm going over

I just have to believe that the ball "finally" bounces our way with a good offense and a "competent" defense to equal offense this year

I'm holding out hope brother
