As someone familiar with the history of the past 20 years, you know how awful it's been. So why do we need to make things seem even worse than they are/were? We won 7 games by 3+ scores. I'm too lazy to look, but I'd be willing to bet we haven't done that in over 20 years. So no, we didn't struggle in **** near every game. That's patently false. If you win a game by 22 points, you didn't struggle, I don't care if it was close for a half.

The only think I am worried about is the prospect of self-harm by soft-shouldered cowards like @C A N S and @cway313 when Miami wins games.

Look at these "until proven otherwise" pussies...as you pointed out, 7 of our 10 victories were BLOWOUTS. 22-point victory margins or more.

That's NOT "11 dogfights". That's just Mope Squad jagoffs holding on for dear life.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking a lot about Clemson last year and our schedule this year. As much as I want to beat ND (I feel much more comfortable about us beating UF), we could lose to them early and yet end up having a more successful season than 2024. It’s much more crucial to get through this end-of-season hump.

All of them. If the best team in college football history (UM 2001) can struggle against BC, going into the 4th 9-7, then you always worry. ****, we were up by 21 vs. Syracuse and lost. ... I'll always worry about a Brohm-led team. Surprisingly, I'm not worried about UF. I think we spank them.
 
I'm not worried about road games in November.
Over the last 20 years vs p4/5 we're 46-68 in all games on the road.

I'll take @SMU and @Pitt as the potential egg layers.

No. Wrong.

Nobody denies that "on any given Saturday" anything could happen. Yes. We all understand that. ****, we lost to FAMU as recently as 1979.

But that wasn't the question. The question was about CONCERN. More specifically, which one game concerns you the most.

And yet we have some of Mope Squad acting like they will be "concerned" for 11 games.

That is just pusillanimous.

If we've got people expressing "concern" over, say, the Stanford game, they should go root for another school. Because they aren't rugged enough to be Miami fans.

I think concern is subjective. Whether they are just “scared pussies” or not and should go root for another school, is a matter of opinion. One person could see concern as simply sweating out the 1H. If that’s how that person feels, then that’s how they feel.

You may have not been sweating against WF last year. But several people were until the pick 6, they were concerned.

When we had a chance to win against GT late before the strip sack, I was confident we were about to win and wasn’t concerned at all. ****’s subjective and changes according to who is being asked. I don’t think there is a “wrong” answer.

I won’t get into the whole who isn’t “rugged” enough to be a fan or whatever. That’s a waste of time.

Sure. The players prepare for every game. Got it.

But nobody is walking into 11 or 12 games "concerned" or "anxious" or "worried" about losing. That's just weak.

And, yes, we can develop concerns in games where we suffer injuries, play poorly, or do not give enough effort.

The reality is, some people like to fancy themselves as Nostra-*******-damus. "Oh, I was concerned that we would lose, and we did". **** all of that.

Yes, we COULD lose any game. Nobody argues that. Being concerned/anxious/worried about 11 games is just ridiculous.

And, again, for the record, and with previously-introduced evidence, the mopiest of the mopers were saying things like "until proven otherwise". Meanwhile, we slaughtered our opponents in 7 of our 10 wins last season. So when does "until proven otherwise" become proven? We need to turn into 1980s era Oklahoma/Nebraska and win 10 games by 70 points each before people are not "concerned/anxious/worried" and can stop wearing Depends at the Miami games?

Yeah, we have some weak fans. Just acknowledge it.
 
Yall can be scared of Virginia Tech all yall want but that Florida game will tell me a lot about this team, they actually have good talent on that roster and they’ll be trying their best to get that get back after that embarrassment last year. I suspect FSU won’t lie down either , it’s those two for me
