DAILY DEBATE: Aside from Notre Dame, which game concerns you the most?

And? Lol
Have we not been watching the same Miami Hurricanes of the last 20 years? That is a road game in November, it doesn’t matter who they lost.

Aside from BCC, there should be no rebuttals to anyone saying ANY team concerns them next season. We can literally lose to anyone aside from Bethune.
They didn’t get enough to Replace What they Loss thru Recruiting or the Portal ,Talent Matters look at FSU ‘23 & ‘24

That’s the Big And? Especially late in the year where depth is Tested And?

You’re going on assumptions of the Past ,instead of substance & Facts that Talent & depth Matter . It’s why it will be VT head Coach last year …. or that doesn’t matter either?

That’s just on observation on VT / You can go ahead & assume With Miami all you want.

I bet you think you cooked here 🤣.

I’m going on assumptions but you just said this will be the VT coach’s last year, which is literally an assumption. Have a good day brother.

Honestly, none. Notre Dame is by far and away the toughest opponent we have on our schedule. I know a lot of people are saying but what about those two games to end the year on the road at Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh? Well, while we have struggled in November, I just think this team is too talented to have any problems with those two teams. Aside from those games being on the road, if you look at the rosters for both those teams, there’s absolutely nothing to be afraid of in those games. Beck will pick both those teams apart and playing in those two cold-weather games will get us ready for the cold weather in Charlotte for the ACC title game.

We had the #1 QB in the country last year and struggled in **** near every game. They all genuinely concern me. Also, the last, like, 20 years, you know.

Tier 1 Concern
UF, SMU

Tier 2 Concern
FSU, Louisville, Syracuse, Va Tech, Pitt

Tier 3 Concern
USF, NC State

Margins of victory in our 10 wins.

As someone familiar with the history of the past 20 years, you know how awful it's been. So why do we need to make things seem even worse than they are/were? We won 7 games by 3+ scores. I'm too lazy to look, but I'd be willing to bet we haven't done that in over 20 years. So no, we didn't struggle in **** near every game. That's patently false. If you win a game by 22 points, you didn't struggle, I don't care if it was close for a half.

I'm with you on not taking any game for granted. It's college football in 2025. Parity is at an all-time high, and this program has a patent on losing games outright as a favorite. But let's be real, we don't need to say every single game is terrifying because we struggled last year. We most assuredly did not struggle, at all, in any of the first 4 games, and at no point, literally not for a single play, did I think we were going to lose to FSU, Duke, or Wake. I've watched every snap of every Miami football game for 30+ years, I can't ever remember a time where Miami played 7 games in a season that I had zero concern we'd lose after the first drive. We beat the **** out of a lot of teams last year, even with that trash *** defense.

As far as the OP, aside from ND, I think the rest of the home games will be somewhat comfortable wins. Obviously anything can happen, and the gator will probably be tougher than last year. But I'm comfortable with all the home games. At SMU, and the 2 late in the year where it might be cold are ones I'll really have my eyes on. But I think we handle Louisville, Syracuse, Stanford, NC State, and USF rather easily.

UL, Pitt and UF. I actually worry about those games more than ND because of what later games do for playoff hopes.

I'll go with Pitt.

They'll be our 7th straight game without a week off. They have a bye is 3 weeks before playing us.

The S&P has them at #47, with the #17 D and #56 O.

That #56 O loses its #1 WR and TE. But their QB, leading rusher and 2, 3, and 4 leading WR all return.

Their soon to be #1 reciever is from Fort Lauderdale. Its not like WR from south FL have had success against us..

NONE OF THEM FACK ALL THE JABRONI BREAK THEIR BACK MAKE THEM HUMBLE FACK NOTRE SCUM DAME FACK BOBBY NAPIER ACH PTUI

Every game in November. Including road games against VaTech and Pitt when it gets a lil chilly. You know how we act.

In order:

ND

UF (someone is going to be wrong about them, either the entire media or Vegas)

@ SMU

Louisville

@ Pitt

@ VT

@ FSU

Syracuse

NC State

USF

Stanford

Bethune

Every game after about game 6 when the tape on us is out and it's too easy for ACC coaches to out coach us. The November games are a murderers row for us regardless of opponent.

Every game causes a MAJOR concern except BC. I don't see us winning more than 7 games if that. So much hinges on the health of Carson Beck. Right off the bat I don't see us beating ND, FL, or SMU and that's for starters. If we had a much better head coach I would be make a 10 win season or higher. Mario, unfortunately is personally responsible for 1-2 losses per year. He should NEVER EVER be able to make game time decisions. We have enough talent to be a very good team to make the playoffs.
