That‘s an old projection before last week and the UVA series.

It was still pretty bad though, had Ole Miss as a national seed and they’re not even ranked anymore and weren’t playing well at that time either.

D1 is not doing projections this week.

We're still getting a lot of love from BA, but the shine is coming off other ACC teams - we're the only national seed in this projection that includes 3 SEC and 3 Pac 12 teams in Top 8. I doubt two conferences get 3/4 of the national seeds.

Doubt that would happen. They typically try to avoid same conference super regionals. An SEC, Big 12 or someone like Dallas Baptist, GA Southern, etc. are more likely to be opposite us IMO.

That used to be the case, but now that they seed 1 through 16 they want to keep it as legit as possible, so they will match up teams from the same conference.

While that may be their stated objective, I suspect it's still pretty subjective when assigning #14 vs #15, for example. So, unless one conference has 6 - 7 host sites, I'd still be surprised if we see it. Time will tell.
