I'm hearing Mark Richt is the leading candidate AT THE MOMENT if he is let go by UGA. Personally I am a Butch fan and kinda surprised Miami thinks it can afford Richt but 151-41 in the SEC is impressive. Heard this from a rival school's Athletic Department. Has anyone else heard this?

Richt is good man, but I sure don't want him at Miami. His best day are behind him. He loses the big games. He would probably hire a mediocre DC and an inexperienced DB and Safeties Coach, but he may luck up on a good DL coach that is not retained by Missouri's new head coach. JMO

I think it's actually more fun to remember back to around this time and recall all the national media clowns that were debating how bad a situation Miami was and why anyone would want to come here. This was done simultaneously while spouting misinformation as fact about Richt being done with coaching because it fit their narrative as to believing that he'd have no desire to ever do anything out of the mighty SEC let alone come to this dumpster fire.
