Yet Cuba has a tourism industry and Cuban cigars can be had all over the world. There are even direct flights from the US to Havana. Maybe you need to update your definition of what the embargo consists of.

I have no idea what he wrote, and frankly dont care, but to your point, Cuba has economic relations with most countries of the world, including Canada, the EU, and all of the bad guys.
 
How about this for a radical idea. Everyone who wants open national boarders for any reason should then agree to open their home, apartment, trailer to anyone who wants to enter it for any reason. It is no different. Invite them in. Let them eat your food, watch your cable TV, spend your money, drive your car-sleep with your daughters and wives. If you truly believe what Nancy Pelosi says, "Everyone is an American" put up and live that life. Anyone who opposes open national boarders can post a sign saying no entry and prohibit all from entering their home. Brand yourself as a closed-minded racist who loves only your family [and select friends]. What we have now is the open boarder supporters want EVERYONE to pay for their idea and are not willing to sacrifice for their beliefs. They should STFU. Rant over.

That is straight bull**** and you know it. All TRUMP did was kiss the **** of Putin by constantly praising him and saying that he believed Putun and not his own Generals, CIA and Intelligence agencies. Everyday of the week Trump was praising Putin who was his boss and confidant. Now reports are coming out that the Top General in the US, General Miley, and all of the military establishment, believed that Trump was going to pull a Castro/Hitler move an take over the government. Stop with all of the bull **** and lies. It is people like you that have this country so misinformed and disinformed. Who was Putin's *****? Trump. No denying that my friend. I hope that the Cuban people finally are not intimidated and do take over the Castro communist dictatorship. It will not be easy but very doable.

I know what it consists of, do you?
Since 1990 the UN general assembly has overwhelmingly voted in favor of ending the embargo with only the US and Israel voting against it.
Yet the US continues to ignore international sentiments and keeps doing what they want.
US only cares about their own geopolitical interests no one else's.
I'm talking about the US government and the companies that run it.
Not it's citizens who are victims as well and who's needs and wants are also ignored.

While this is true, are we going to deny that pretty open US immigration policy put forth by Pelosi is just as crazy? two extremes don't work

There are 192 countries not named Cuba in the UN, but the reason Cuba is suffering is because 1 of them has an embargo.

I don't buy into the one world government BS. If the UN could vote to take every penny we own and leave us to starve, they would in a heartbeat. So to **** with international sentiment. The US should do what's right and that's pursuing freedom for oppressed people which is exactly what's happening.

So Ending the Embargo would end political imprisonment led by the dictatorship? Famine would it end that too? nationalization of previously privately owned businesses? it would bring in so many resources it would cure all of Cuba's ills, right?

What does Trump have to do with this discussion? And btw, thanks for all of the compliments and advice, I will be sure to pay more attention to CNN, the Colbert report and and Al Jazeera to better informed in the future.

Lol. Trump loved Putin so much that he made his successor drop sanctions and allow the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
