Crow eating time

Last paragraph is fair. The rest feels a bit emotionally charged. That’s ok. It’s been a long 20 years.

I post daily and have never seen a ton of slander towards Mesidor, Fletcher or Bain. Obviously Rueben was hurt last year. Chase Smith was a fan favorite.. just never got healthy. Doubting that he ever would isn’t mean spirited, just honest. No need to “eat crow” IMO.

I couldn’t disagree more on Dawsons system. If anything, it’s one of my biggest criticisms. His play designs are uninspired. Our WR are making contested catches. Respect to them. Weird group. Freshman are great. Still not ideal (my opinion) but whatever works.

Blay looks great.. I still think the depth there is scary. Hope he stays healthy. Ideally I’d like more bodies.

Brantley has played 10 snaps. I can’t make that assessment. Most likely you’re right but can say just yet.

Everyone echoed D$ going into the season about our roster being the most complete & talented in 20 years. There’s no crow to eat IMO. Miami doesn’t get to spike the football towards doubters if they finally have a great season. Act like you’ve been there before and do it again next season. If we’re truly back, that’s what will take place. Joaquin said Dominate.
I tagged you in a post above with several quotes of Mesidor slander, there were several more I just didn’t want to continue searching for them.

In Shawn Dawson system receivers repeatedly put up 1,000 yard seasons. Yes there are contested catches that is typical for outside receivers, but the middle of the field is almost always wide open, that’s why slot receivers always go over 1,000 yards in this system. Here are the top 2 receivers from Dawsons last 3 OC stops.

Leading Receivers under Shannon Dawson
Southern Miss (2018)

  • Quez Watkins
    • 1,198 receiving yards, 71 receptions, 16.9 yards per catch, 10 touchdowns
      • Conference USA All-Conference selection
    Tim Jones
    • 475 receiving yards, 38 receptions, 12.5 yards per catch, 4 touchdowns
Houston (2021)
  • Tank Dell
    • 1,329 receiving yards, 90 receptions, 14.8 yards per catch, 12 touchdowns
      • First-Team All-American Athletic Conference
      • Dave Campbell All-State First Team
    Jeremy Singleton
    • 753 receiving yards, 52 receptions, 14.5 yards per catch, 7 touchdowns
Houston (2022)
  • Tank Dell
    • 1,398 receiving yards, 109 receptions, 12.8 yards per catch, 17 touchdowns
      • Second Team All-America
      • First Team All-American Athletic Conference
      • Dave Campbell's Texas Football First Team All-Texas
      • Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist
      • Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Semifinalist
    KeSean Carter
    • 622 receiving yards, 52 receptions, 12.0 yards per catch, 5 touchdowns
Miami (2023)
  • Xavier Restrepo
    • 1,092 receiving yards, 85 receptions, 12.8 yards per catch, 6 touchdowns
      • All-ACC First Team
    Jacoby George
    • 864 receiving yards, 57 receptions, 15.2 yards per catch, 8 touchdowns
      • Third-Team All-ACC
Miami (2024)
  • Xavier Restrepo
    • 1,127 receiving yards, 69 receptions, 16.3 yards per catch, 11 touchdowns
      • All-America First Team
      • All-ACC First Team
    Jacoby George
    • 752 receiving yards, 53 receptions, 14.2 yards per catch, 8 touchdowns

My point about Brantley had to do with the 2024 season. The 2024 season Brantley was a better corner than anyone on the Miami roster not named OJ, the point is on the 2024 roster Brantley would have been a starter and on this current 2025 roster he is 5th on the depth chart. The point is Miami only had 1 healthy P4 corner on the roster in 2024 and with a roster that void of talent is bound to collapse late in the season.

(I could say 2 if Porter only played on the outside, but him in nickel was a nightmare)

Lastly the crow being served is not for the college football world, who cares if they don’t believe. It’s for the so called fans on the board who spent all summer saying this team is mid, will go 8-4, and anyone who believe this defense can be dominate is delusional.

It’s week 3 against a 1 good team and two FBS teams. Slow down champ.

Fletcher played well. He still doesn’t have wiggle cause of one run.

Good on chase smith.

Never saw anyone doubt Mesidor. He was hurt and played out of position last year. He has always been talented.

Let’s check back on this after FSU game. The season is just starting.
It is early but I’m okay with talking that talk. Two wins vs top 25 teams in 3 weeks, one vs a top 10 opponent.

Some might say, but look at Notre Dame sitting at 0-2, but the fact that the AP voted them in the top 25 at 0-2 says a lot about those two losses to top 5 Miami and Top 10 Texas A&M.

Then USF is a G5 team but they were #18 for a reason. They beat the same UF team that just went 12 rounds in a night game at LSU.

Where I agree with you at is we have a lot of season to go, and we’re down 2 offensive playmakers that we’ll need in JoJo and Lyle. We have UF in 6 days and they’ll be playing with absolutely nothing but house money. Let’s see if we can get it done vs a Power 4 team with equal talent when we’re a projected substantial favorite.

All I've wanted to do for the past decade(2013) is eat a whole tub full of crow, fingers crossed. I did think we would win 10-11 but we look like a top 5 team right now. Still early but am hopeful, even though I see some issues in my peripheral.

I've had doubts about Fletcher and still do, but think he played a great game. Still think we need a healthy Lyle to have a complete RB room and to bring the game breaking ability to that room.

I love this DLine! Always have ! Let’s go canes you loser.

You were WRONG about the body types. It’s the same exact players as last year + Blay. Love to see guys getting coached up and reaching potential. 11-1, 12-0 on deck as I’ve said!
I’m gonna go ahead and make it real clear here you knee knocked dork, it’s as clear as Day You’ve never played this game and the way you went on that podcast in the summer and threw a little temper tantrum acting like a little girl has you all up in your feelings now. You were wrong about our Dline then and still wrong now, even though D money tried to set your punk *** straight this summer on the podcast you still dug your heels in the sand. Well, you’re wrong sport and we all know you are and all you’re showing now is a level of a complete stubbornness that you won’t admit that you were wrong. So go ahead and keep pushing your BS agenda and sticking your head in the sand but better be ready because I’m gonna call your punk *** out on it every single time! Let’s count how many times on podcast this week. We get to hear your classic line “ you know I’m still a little worried about the second string and third string D line” lol get real dude, when you’re ready to eat your well-deserved crow, we’re waiting? Smh oh and go Canes!

I said the body types weren't different, and they arent! They are still light behind the front unit do doubt. Love the talent there, though. You said Moten was 315-325 lmao. You are clueless. Thank you for your conitnued clicks and listens!

The Chase smith and Fletcher one I am guilty. Fletcher still got basic wiggle but he is playing well. Surprised tf out of me so far
I actually chuckled when I watched Fletcher run towards that saftety. He had no idea what he was going to do, like a virginon prom night. Similarly, he decided he was just goiing to ram it in there.

Let me get this straight.....The one time MF4 didn't run slap into the back of an olineman or right into a defender we should eat crow?

Lets get a little dose of reality and hope he can continue to stack good weeks like this last one. But you can GTFOH with the eating crow comment LOL

Bullshlt every single one of our defensive lineman that is contributing this year to maybe be the most dominant defensive line in the country is well over 300 pounds. And let me tell you something sport, you cannot say that about one single D lineman from last year aside from Moten. You were wrong when you threw your little temper tantrum on that podcast in the summer and I’m gonna keep calling you out about it until you own up to it and eat that well deserved crow you got coming to you. Till then, if you wanna keep digging your heels in the sand, even though we all know you’re wrong, have added it, but we all know the truth about our defensive line this year. Even though @DMoney tried to set your @ss straight during your little temper tantrum podcast this summer, and you didn’t listen then and you’re still not listening now. Go Canes!

My game is on point, when I’m calling out that fool Petey boy about that BS temper tantrum he had on a podcast this summer when he was ****ting on our defensive line. He was wrong then and he’s still wrong now. And I’ll happily keep busting him up about it on here until he eats some well deserved crow.

David Blay 305
Ahmad Moten 300
Justin Scott 303

None of those guys are "well over" 300. They are balling though.

Wrong again, clown. And thank you for another click/listen.

Let me repeat, every single one of those defensive tackles is over 300 pounds. Whether you wanna say well over 300 pounds or over 300 pounds either way it means the same thing. They are over 300 ******* pounds! Also, I know what my eyes see and all three of those are heavier than that. Last year we had one tackle over 300 pounds and that was Moten. So again you’re wrong Petey boy and that’s not what you were throwing your little temper tantrum on the podcast this summer over. You were flat out saying this years defensive doesn’t look better than last years. Well again, you are flat out wrong! And I’ll happily keep busting you up about it on here all day until you eat the well-deserved crow, you got coming down your throat. I can’t wait to hear the podcast this week where you give your classic BS line of “ you know I’m still worried about that second string and third string defensive line” lol get real dude! Lol

Then start acting like it, and stop shltting on it! And stop saying on the podcast how you’re still worried about the second string and third string D line. SMH Because when you do that, guess what, you’re still shltting on the D line. I’ll take that as you’re finally eating the crow you deserve to eat from your temper tantrum podcast this summer. Our D line has been lights out this year, and there’s no denying that!

You said Moten was 325 last year. He said he was 312 and now he is in 300-305 range. That’s just one example of how wrong you’ve been. You’ve been saying all summer they were all well over 300 lol. You were WRONG!

Your eyes are lying to you. And I can’t wait for you to listen this week either. Every click counts.

I never once said that I didn’t like the DLine you clown. 🤡

You are making things up in your head. Thank you for the listens.
