That and when he was at UNC, all his supporters could talk about is all the talent he brought in. They were really counting on that when the team got in hot water and then it became about how they lost those players for however many games.

So ultimately, a certain someone, saying they had less talent is hogwash.

That has to be it. The retirement talk must’ve just been bullshlt from the athletic department at FIU, he had no intention to retire. They were probably trying to get him to retire, but he didn’t choose that. He wants to get his buyout money I’m guessing. I believe you’re right.

I don’t know. It seems to me like he had no intentions of leaving, and FIU was trying to get him to retire But I think he wants that buyout money.

Anyway, no chance he gets hired at Miami as head coach. That’s just my opinion obviously, but I’d be willing to put money on it. I don’t think there’s an appetite for him at the school. But again, just my opinion.

I was just saying it before some CIS-conspiracy-nut-Butch-slurper said it. I've thought there was no chance of Miami hiring him for years and I don't see anything to change that view.

I wouldn't mind seeing Butch is some sort of "analyst" role at UM if someone like Mario becomes coach.

I don’t think his ego allows for it. Not saying that’s a bad thing or good thing, I just don’t think he would accept something like that. Just my opinion.
