Aggressive three strike laws is a start. Long term, economic policies that bring low skill jobs would help too, but it’s tough competing globally for those jobs.

you aren’t very smart

Does not work.

Im pro-life and pro-choice. Not pro-abortion. I happen to think women should have a choice.

Its a free country you can think whatever you want to think, but that makes no sense to me. You are ok with killing babies but not with killing murderers?

I’m okay with women exercising their right to choose whether they want to deliver or terminate. I think the death penalty is a misnomer. It simply isn’t dissuading people from committing treason or first degree murder. It gives the allusion of being good and wholesome. It simply is not good for our country. Too many innocent people have died due to the system in place. I look at a man like George Floyd and think how many innocent people will be executed by our corrupted justice system this year?

Your argument does not hold up. Look at the crime rates of cities with "progressive" prosecutors that decline be tough on crime, their crime rates are skyrocketing. Uber liberal San Francisco actually recalled their "progressive" DA, and LA is trying to recall theirs. And I posted above about Eric Adams complaining about his "progressive" DA. And finally, your last sentence is frankly ridiculous.

Not everything is as seems my little padawan!

Up until what point?

I look at the macro picture. Its a tragedy that maybe a few might be incorrectly executed, but its a much bigger tragedy that the soft on crime policies are contributing to a huge increase in crime and murders.

I was fine with Roe v Wade and 23/24 weeks along. Anything after must be for health reasons.

Not necessarily.

Even Eric Adams knows that when you aren't prosecuting the criminals and therefore punishing the victims... something ain't right...

BTW, how is NY bail reform doing? Hmm... liberal policies like this are asinine...

Then you add on top of that... shrinking budgets (yup, thanks defund the police)... cops more restrictive in tactics they can use and when they can go after criminals. Yeah... it's COMMON SENSE that crime is going up everywhere. And then you get MSM nitpicking one or two stats where the percent is going down... well guess what is happening in the other 50 types of crimes... they are skyrocketing! It's completely insane. Maybe one day they will wake up and reverse the "soft on crime" policies and actually HELP THE VICTIM... NOT the criminal

I have zero problems being tough on crime. I do have problems with the stigma of a record staying with you for life and I think if a person commits a crime there should be resources available to show them a path away from recidivism.

Crime, I believe @SpikeUM we agree it is a problem in the US. Is it a problem to be solved? Why does anyone commit a crime? I think a lot of crime is economic in nature. Not all. A lot which would put me north of 50% and for me less than 70% as my range for economic crime. When someone, not you, is late to work and thinks speeding will solve their problem. They are then pulled over for speeding. Economic crime imho. Teachers we have to drive to school we can’t go remote, so we must be careful.

I know this real piece of **** that took a charge at 14 so everyone else walked. It was an armed robbery. He went to prison for a decade.

At 14 he is able to throw his life away? Respectfully, the pro life crowd is ready to three and out his ***.

Is he a bad person? Should armed robbery at 14 follow him forever?

Tell me what is his ceiling for life? How many of you wouldnoff yourself if that was your ceiling? How many would off yourself if it was your floor? I’m a mandated reporter. Just tell me you are under 18 with SI. I’ll call dfacs for you!

Exactly what I was talking about. My point is to give him every opportunity to make sure strikes 2 and 3 don't happen.
