Yeah that's not how this works. If FSU players were as talented as their rankings even horrific coaching couldn't stop them from winning games. This team went 7-6 under Jimbo (his final year), and 9-12 under Taggart. That is a combined 16-18 under 2 different coaches. You clear house of all coaches, assistants, etc... and gut the roster of anything remotely resembling cancer or bad attitudes is what any sane coach does. The boosters sound to be enamored with FSU's current roster and recruiting rankings - that's not a great hill to die on.

Same with many public schools and to act like a common student who graduated knows what's going on with the hiring and firing of million dollar employees doesnt make a whole lot of sense.
