Good Lord, dude graduated from FSU and this is what he's "hearing"—as if that makes him any more credible than any other idiots on social media or message boards who read the same stuff everyone else reads?

Bob Stoops walked on a quality Oklahoma program to slow down, as he didn't want to die on the sidelines like his old man did at 54, coaching a high school football game.

He took that Dallas XFL gig as an easy way to help the brand; a 10-game season next year. No recruiting. No heavy lifting of a college or NFL head coach.

Florida State is burning to the ground right now and their athletic department is completely backwards.

Joe Castiglione (OU) is one of the best in the business. Stoops ain't going from working under him, to the clown show at Florida State. Dude could've had the Florida gig if he wanted two years ago and he passed—the Gators in much better shape as a program and athletic department than what the Noles are.

It would take an act of God for Bob Stoops to sign up for the sh1tshow at Florida State. At best, they get Mark Stoops.

This team went 7-6 under Jimbo (his final year), and 9-12 under Taggart. That is a combined 16-18 under 2 different coaches. You clear house of all coaches, assistants, etc... and gut the roster of anything remotely resembling cancer or bad attitudes is what any sane coach does. The boosters sound to be enamored with FSU's current roster and recruiting rankings - that's not a great hill to die on.

Lots of people hearing Stoops. Will believe it when I see it. Probably won’t care then either.....

If he left OU because of a mystery illness or some fear of dying, that means he was politely escorted out the door.....
 
We all know the first couple names are never even close. They are getting all the Gruden to Miami **** out of the way first. First it was Urban, now it's Stoops. They probably are hearing Stoops, but more likely his brother Mark.

Bob stoops has never been an elite recruiter, look at the way Oklahoma recruits now with Lincoln Riley in charge as the head guy compared to what they did when stoops was there. It’s a night and day difference. With that being said IF it turns out bob stoops is the guy for them that would be a solid hire. Wonder how vested he really would be in the job if he just retired out of no where.

He was Richt at Georgia without the You’re Fired! Maybe he will be motivated again by being Chokelahoma and want back on the horse.
 
Tell your cousin to get us a complete roster by eligibility and their recruits so we can at least pick a part who will bolt.....
 
I'd be fine with them hiring either Stoops bro. Bob is Richt 2.0 and Mark has never been able to figure out how to coach offense.

That being said, how the **** could FSU pay Stoops $8 million/yr?They wouldn't pay Fisher $7.5 million/yr and they now owe Taggart $17 million, plus their AD is in debt as it is.
