Could Trayone Gray play LB?

I don't really like the WRs we've brought in lately. I'd like to see him tried there.

He's dynamic with the football in his hands, I don't want his best attribute wasted. I'd put him at WR and hope to accidentally unearth a 6'2 225 type freak in the mold of Demariyus/Josh Gordon.

In an interview on CS, Al said he might be changing positions. I know he has never played defense, but with his size and athleticism he could make a very good WILL LB. We will be thin at WILL next season and if Gray can pick up the position in the spring, I could see him making an impact at the position in the fall.

He actually played Safety in high school but not a lot of it. with his size he is a LB now.

I would like to see him S if he is fast enough. Playing QB in HS should help him read routes better and with his size and athleticism, I would love to see him read and react.

I would prefer they tried him at WR first. He could be that big strong WR you can use over the middle, in the endzone, etc. Also use him in exotic plays, Wildcats, etc. I would try him at WR before moving him to D. He's a great athlete, but I don't want to see him get wasted moving from one position to another every year.

Let him find what he's good at fast, and then let him develop there.

We could use some talent at WR to replace Dorsett, giving Kaaya another big strong target would certainly not hurt at all.

We've already blown his red shirt year. Start ******* around with position changes very carefully, or we will waste him.

I could be wrong, but isn't a knock on him at RB that he doesn't really like contact? That wouldn't work well at LB. I've always seen him as a WR.

He would probably fit better as a defensive coordinator as I assume he watches TV on Sunday's and probably knows more than the current DC

He should be a WR, with all the TBs coming in, thats where he should be. They will put him on D and complain about all the M.Es

have we had any player successfully change positions under this staff? and tucker doesn't count as he originally came in as a fb

Wait, I could've sworn before the season when we were trying to figure out what position he was going to play and safety was brought up people said it was a bad idea because he shied away from contact.

Now he'd make a good LB?

Fml why are you ******* this up al just leave him where he is

Yearby will not give you what you're looking for he runs scared.

?????

what I think yearby doesn't run the ball hard. He not looking to lower his shoulder and he's not fast enough to outrun people soooo.
Everyone aint built for that. He is the rare guy who is built small but has the footwork and vision to eat between the tackles while making people miss in a phone booth
