Could it be possible that Richt is actually worse than

He was just as bad last year. Especially as the season went on. We knew what he was. There’s a reason nobody wanted him to start this season. Go back and look at old threads.

Also remember that defenses had a full year of film on Richts O and rosier. That offense was largely the same this year: same sets, plays, routes, and tendencies. So In 2018 defenses knew what plays were coming pre snap. That’s gonna have an impact. They also knew to game plan for rosiers legs.

But at the end of the day, rosier was the same guy in 2018 we saw in 2017.
Rosier won 10 games last year including two fourth quarter drives against FSU and one against Ga Tech. This year he can’t hit the side of a barn. The fact that no one wanted him to start doesn’t mean anything other than the coaches knew he was bad. The coaches could only hide his deficiencies for so long until someone figured it out.

It was a 3-way tie. And golden had the best recruiting classes in the division. "The cloud." You ninnies sound just like that loser.

Richt won the ACC Coastal, won ten games, won a bowl game--things golden never did--and Richt is worse???

You delicate sunflowers are so emotional.

Arguably speaking CMR is WORST than the Golden Boy. Why? Because he had ample returning starters entering this season past and it was his THIRD SEASON and the SAME staff had been with him for three seasons. So there was continuity in the program. Also, even the NATIONAL college pundits and ACC media-hacks had faith in Miami having either a 10-2 or 11-1 type of regular season. Why do you think these personalities voted Miami TOP TEN in both the AP and Coaches polls. Also, SEVERAL other college football magazine polls placed Miami in their respective Top 10's.

He!!, even in a WORST CASE scenario Miami should have had a record of " 9-3! "

No sir Cane dudes, Richt is in a DEAD HEAT with the Golden Boy for performing beneath Miami Hurricane football standards. And Richt will probably share the same downward spiral as U Know Who. Especially if Miami finishes 7-5 next season! OUCH.

But not all is lost college football speaking. At least for moi. Because my SECOND favorite team is Lord Saban's Roll Tide, Roll... Yahoo. hUh.

P.S. Lay the money now on Alabama against Boomer Sooner. Because Bama' is going to MOLEST that team from the southern plains. hUh.

I’m having a hard time figuring out how u missed that rosier sucked last year. He had a couple nice drives, especially against FSU, but his performances were bad and his stats showed it.

Dude couldn’t hit the ocean from a boat last year either, a clutch drive doesn’t change that.

If u wanna find a difference between the seasons and win totals, look at turnover diffferential.

Al golden is a scum bag. I have genuine disdain for him. His stubbornness in refusing to change his D cost this program years.

Richt is making the exact same mistakes, just w O not D.
Al didn’t know how to coach defense any other way. He refused to learn and tried to fit square pegs into a round hole. Richt hid Rosier’s deficiencies last year for ten games. At some point someone would figure it out. Perry has proven to be immature. He’s already admitted he wasn’t studying film. Maybe that’s at least part of why Richt had to call predictable, conservative plays. Not saying Richt gets a free pass, but at the position you need maturity and leadership, we’re lacking right now and that is part of the problem too.

Richt didn’t hide rosiers deficiencies. The turnover differential did.

Go look at rosiers stats last year.

The TURNOVER CHAIN saved Rozier and CMR's bacon last season!! Akin to the turnover chain SAVING CMR's **** in the second-half against a MEDIOCRE Seminole team many, many, many, many moons past.

Malik’s completion %:
2017: 54%
2018: 53.5%

The QB issues on fall back on Richt and Junior. They had the ENTIRE SPRING, SUMMER and fall practice to get an unproven young QB ready for mighty LSU! Case in point. The LSU game displayed which coaching staff had his team ready for the season opener in Arlington, Tejas. And it wasn't Miami's offensive staff which had the offense ready.

You’re comparing a red-shirt freshman to a senior. Seriously? You can’t teach maturity and Perry is proving to be a young little knucklehead. Let’s hope he’s learned.

Dude this O is a mess from top to bottom. Everybody is at fault, from coaches to players to whoever decides what color socks they wear.

But you’re underestimating how bad the scheming and gameplanning has been. The O was simple, because that’s Richts O.

With a bad QB and OL, it’s incumbent on the staff to game plan around it. Richts done the opposite. Why isn’t there motion which would help malik identify coverage? Why is he not varying the routes? the D knows where the receivers going. Why is he sticking to his tendencies? The D knows the play pre snap. Why isn’t he running plays to set up plays? Why is he running 4 verts every 3rd down? Why is he running fades in EZ to short receiver? Why isn’t he isolating his talented fast receivers on slow defenders? etc etc

He literally runs a handful of plays, the same ones in same situations. All this does NOT help a struggling QB it hurts him. The O he’s running needs way more talent than he has now.

That’s all ignoring the obvious lack of QBs development. How is it that true freshmen all over the country start game 1, yet his handpicked guys can’t? An entire season was wasted on malik, perry or Williams needed to be on the field. That they weren’t is an indictment of the staffs ability to develop qbs. As is the fact that rosier saw no improvement at all year to year.

Today there are a lot of true freshmen or RS-freshmen STARTING for POWER 5 schools across the nation. dUh. So yes I'm comparing Miami's young QB to a " below-average " RS-senior QB! For instance, a TRUE FRESHMEN quarterback at Iowa St. led his team to a 8-4 record this season. And the kid was an UNKNOWN THREE-STAR quarterback from some HICK SMALL TOWN! dUh. Go figure.

Sometimes it does work out. Kayaa started as a freshman. Dorsey was the starter by the end of his freshman year. It doesn't always pan out though. As I said earlier, so far Perry has proven to be a bit of a knucklehead.

Malik can't hit the side of a barn. He's limited. He's not threading the needle 30 yards down field or throwing into a tight window.

Which is exactly why the scheme he’s playing in is so important. Richt is asking him to hit receivers 35 yards downfield with the 4 verts he runs every series. Those 20 yard outs are Long difficult throws to make, why is richt having him throw it repeatedly.

Malik needed way more screens, shorter throws, and to work the middle. Thats not what this O does.

Those tight windows should’ve been opened up w scheming. Crap put a man in motion, pull a LB over, and sit a receiver down in the hole.

You are exactly right... malik can’t make those throws, but he’s been asked to. His OC is amplifying the problems, and it’s a shame.
