App state had the ball longer and didn’t give the ball up inside the red zone

Our defense was more impressive than theirs imo even though they gave up fewer points (barely)
They’re a sun belt team. I hope our defense is better than that. You missed the point.

This "Scheme guys open" crap is so overplayed,.it's a cliche. Unless you are straight up outtalenting people, you have to make contested catches on occasion. Our guys didn't do that, they didn't even make the easy catches consistently. The fact that we are relying on some Bill Walsh in 1988 crap is hilarious. Even Bill would tell you that scheme only goes so far.
Maybe go back and watch some of the ridiculously wide open tds we had last year

We absolutely got outcoached on offense!! They let us run and dared us to throw! They rushed 4 all night and played man two deep, which is easy to beat if you run the right concepts such as verticals and drags/ slants underneath to let guys run after catch while blocking down field. They played that No’D bend don’t break defense on us lol. When we got into the red zone they moved guys up to stop the run and played straight man. Easy 1v1 fades there where we can throw it only where our guy can get it or it goes out or we get a PI call and we get first and goal at the one. Both Redding and Smaith are 6’1 plus and have 40 plus inch verts!! No receivers are going to commit here 🤦🏾‍♂️
There is a difference between getting out coached and shooting yourself in the foot. We beat ourselves in this game, it's not like AM just put together some great gameplan and had us stumped.

All these trolls come out when we lose and want our program to be a revolving door of coaches and coordinators. Yall really be trying to sabotage the program on some bs. I don't know why they don't clean up this site.

There were a LOT of us questioning our offense when we got Gaddis.

Got a lot of answers last night - FINALLY!

None of them good . . .

Here we are, back where we were with Richt. Praying for a modern offense.

Ohio State has no problems running the ball with a power spread while still moving the ball through the air.
That’s bc they recruit top shelf wrs and coach them up
And they coach up their qbs
However I bet Ryan day would come up with a better offensive game plan than gattis

Josh Enos is frustrating to watch. Where was Skinner? Quick outs to Mallory? Why does Arroyo disappear? Walk it like you talk it.

Am I the only one that didn't have a problem with the coaching or the clock management last night? Even with ALL of our miscues we were in a position to tie it up at the end.

I went over to /cfb on reddit (which I'm about to stop visiting because they're dumb mother****ers) and they're acting like this was a clown show by Miami, with all the bitter Ducks ***** saying: "LOL we told you about Mario!"

The bottom line is, players didn't execute - specifically the QB and the WRs.

Every other position group has improved out of sight from 10 months ago, with only a few having an immediate influx of talent (I'm looking at you DLine) - that's coaching.

We knew WR was a problem position last year when Rambo and Hartley were our top 2 guys (I'm sorry, but they're both borderline Miami calibre players). We knew it was a problem position in the offseason when Mario and staff were looking under every rock for a WR with a pulse. It came back to bite us in a big game on the road against a very talented team.

**** happens. I for one am very excited about the direction the programme is heading.

This talk about their talent is getting on my nerves. The loss had very little to do with A&M’s talent level; they are NOT good right now.

We out-gained and out-played their “elite talent” in every category and facet outside of special teams. We **** near ran the ball at will. Offense went to **** in the redzone and Miami repeatedly shot themselves in the foot. Horrible clock management and laughably conservative decisions as if they were hoping to just keep it close.

I get it, though. On the surface, deferring to their talent level and recruiting takes some of the sting off, but in reality that’s not why Miami lost tonight.
miami didnt lose bc of ATMs talent. we lost bc our coaches couldn't coach in the big moments. we did see some bad game day coaching w clock management and tempo. for the life of me, I dont understand why they wont push the pace a bit.

youre the only one. the clock management was trash and we didnt coach to score when we got to the red zone. we coached to settle for 3, ill also say this, for this talk about our WRs dont have talent. Brinson, George specifically were highly rated recruits out of SFL. another WR coach and OC figures out a way to get them open. somehow we can't ultiize 4 star talent?

You do realize if we ran the ball more we probably would have won
when we got into the red zone we couldn't run for ****. we didnt throw into the end zone either. you need to be able to pass to score. its a house of cards if they dont adjust the scheme to fit the talent.
