Where did the thought she was a big factor in his recruitment originate? Seems she's indifferent where he goes and just wants it to be over.

I thought he lived with his dad according to Cook's moms. Maybe it's Granny's house and Cook's dad and Cook just live there. But Cook's mom said he lives with his dad.

Yeah, it's murky - that's for sure. I believe it was CentralRockets who said that Granny was the legal guardian and dad just recently came into the picture. Who knows.

FAMU will always be the draw for FSU athletes. (im a FAMU alum). You are talking about an HBCU with an enrollment of about 13,000 (give or take) and some of the finest black women from all over the country in one little radius. And thats not including TCC. And they dont have celebrities or pro athletes to compete with for them either. (Like in Miami) They ARE the celebrities! Its an X factor that we just cant compete with.

(not saying tally is better then miami. Just giving my opinion on the lure of the city. Believe me, its not even a contest pound for pound. Miami wins by a longshot)

Disagree. I think the UF thing is a smokescreen til he makes his final decision. As has been reported now by many of the professional analysts and reporters from all the major services, ESPN does not allow a recruit to announce on TV if its to a school he's already committed to. So if Cook is going to announce at the game on ESPN, then its not going to be to UF.

My guess is still Forced *** University.

As has been reported now by many of the professional analysts and reporters from all the major services, ESPN does not allow a recruit to announce on TV if its to a school he's already committed to. So if Cook is going to announce at the game on ESPN, then its not going to be to UF.

My guess is still Forced *** University.

I can't say I disagree my man. But it helps to cut the drama to take a recruit for what they are saying. He is still listed as a UF commit and says his heart is with them right now. So be it. I think he flips to someone but as of now, he is, by his own volition a Gator.

since most of the time i really dont sweat about recruits like some here, i have to agree with you that the whole UF thing is smoke screen, the kid is saying the right things in his interviews but to be honest i really believe the kid is torn with where he is going to go, the moving of his decision proves this, if you had asked me a week ago i would say Forced *** University (like that one), but now i think its a toss up JMO, i hope the kid does come here, he is one of those playmakers that would take a team to the top

Yep. Not that I pretend to understand their family dynamic, but word on the boards is that Cook and Burnett have the same mom and dad but they took different last names. Burnett lives with the dad and cook with grandma (and mom?).
