Congratulations Gerald Willis -- 2nd Team All-ACC

We've become the Rodney Dangerfield of college football. What an absolute ***ing joke. GW is 1st team - EOS
That’s because of all the bogus hires we have made in coaching. Change must start now, this off season, or be prepared to be the program that’s lives on Preparation-H, year in, year out, decade in, decade out.

Freakin Highway Robbery!!!
Dexter Lawrence over Willis???? Willis almost DOUBLED Lawrence's production across the Board

Those Clemson DTs are all hype. Happens all the time in CFB to be honest. Glenn Dorsey was the first I noticed. Any time he was in the frame the broadcast would slobber all over him. Dude got Sapp comparisons. Then he was exposed as a JAG in the NFL.

This is the politics of college sports. Willis outplayed Clemson DT Dexter Lawrence who had 31 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and 1 interception.

Willis had 59 tackles, league leading 18 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks.

The productivity is not even close.

Let's not forget, Clemson also has Clelin Ferrel who had 42 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks.

So while Willis is seeing double teams, Dexter Lawrence has another first rounder on the other side giving them both 1 on 1 opportunities.

This is the Clemson hype and darling off the ACC. The bottom line, Miami has been better or equal to Clemson's defensive team as our LBs and secondary are better than Clemson's.

Clemson's defense gave up on average 198 yards passing and 92 yards rushing while Miami's defense averaged 141 passing and 127 rushing. In total Clemson gave up 290 per game while Miami gave up 268 per game. That's an amazing stat given how much more Miami's defense is on the field given our lackluster offense.

Have a glimpse into a voter mentality!! Good old Tobacco Road boys.....

"Wilkins and Lawrence are both dominant — I don’t care that Lawrence has lesser stats than the DTs on the second-team. Watching Lawrence in person showed me that every linebacker Clemson has is able to move freely in large part — intended — because of Lawrence the attention he commands "

They truly f'ucked over Gerald.
Fact: He had more tfl's than the other two, combined.

Wilkins- 43 tackles, 12 for loss and 4.5 sacks.

Lawrence- 31 tackles, 4.5 for loss and 0.5 sacks.

Willis- 59 tackles, 18 for loss and four sacks.

Only reason G-Willis is 2nd team is because we're 7-5 and Clemson is undefeated with 2 DTs that will also likely go in the 1st round. I doubt Willis falls past the 2nd. Garvin didn't make the list given he's only got 5.5 sacks on the year; he's a talent, but he just didn't get to the QB enough. Burns over Jackson is because he passed Jackson in all stats (8.5 sacks to 10). But Joe Jackson not being on any of the lists is the weirdest thing I've seen. Should've at least been 3rd team.

Dexter Lawrence had 5 tackles for loss all season. I get he's not there to create havoc but how do you not reward the guy who led the conference in tackles for loss? Put Lawrence on Miami instead of Clemson and tell me he still makes it first team. He wouldn't. He's probably not even honorable mention.

You're asking logical questions that I don't have the answers for. I feel that the voters were lazy and just went with the popular names instead of looking at actual film and stats.
