SEC, to the surprise of everyone. I think they see themselves falling behind the B1G by quite a bit and survival depends on keeping the B1G out of Florida recruiting. We get full shares immediately, while B1G will try to make us take partial shares.

And -- this thread is about conferences -- it only went down this path because people said Indiana should be able to celebrate in whatever manner they want because they won.

Not at all my friend. Of course it’s disappointing to lose a Natty. I don’t think that’s considered being a hater. However some people are just really harping on the loss so hard they’re forgetting how non competitive we’ve been for quarter of a century and how we all thought playing in a Natty in 2025 or even making the field was impossible after SMU. But we won out and proved the doubters wrong, exposed the SEC phonies, knocked out the most talented team in the entire CFP field (Ohio State), and won two trophies and a lot of $. Yes, we didn’t win the big one but we were outplayed by a team who beat all but about 4/16 teams by 25-40 points the entire season. We have plenty to be proud of and a lot to look forward to. This is exactly what we’ve wanted all these years despite coming up just shy of a Natty. Those disappointed in the final game are justified in feeling this way and I don’t think they’re haters. Just taking what we’ve accomplished for granted a bit.

The frustrating thing is if Miami just sticks to the formula we win, even with all the mistakes .

No gimmicks, run the ball, don’t ask Beck to make difficult throws.

Oh well now I am just making myself angry again.
