Well the entire "settlement" was driven BY ESPN ... and they were more than aware of the FSU / Clemson (and others) desires to exit ... so they did have the opportunity to craft some advantageous clauses. Will be interesting to actually read the two docs once somebody gets ahold of them.

The ACC-ESPN TV contract is stored in the same warehouse as The Ark of the Covenant. Nobody will ever get ahold of those documents.

Hess stations continued in Florida until the early 90’s. Only company I recall in Florida.

While we are at it. We had high school parties ON I-75 and Griffin Road while it was under construction south of the ally. Also a great place to skateboard! Out in the boondocks.

We used I-95 north of PGA blvd where it ended until it was finished to Ft Pierce around 1986 as a drag strip.

Not sure 4 wheelers even existed then, 84-85 or thereabouts. We would ride from a buddy's house in cooper city all the way to where the sportatorium used to be, to holiday park, wherever. No phones, nada

The one up at Tyndall AFB lasted at least until '96...Was doing a school there and commuted on the weekends back to Okaloosa County and fueled up there once just for the novelty of it (born/childhood in L.I.)
