Now that the thread is back on track...

Miami is still in the ACC.
Rad is still glowing about the ACC.
FSU and now Clemson are suing to get out of the ACC.
Miami keeps dropping on the list of coveted schools from the ACC to a P2.

Wow. Glad we are back to where we were the minute Oregon and Washington took our B1G spots... still in the ACC...

Funnily enough that’s the exact same place that Clemson and FSU and North Carolina are too at the moment at least just with bigger bills

Why do we sound like broke ******* with the lawyer bill talk we mention every PAGE. WGAF. We got plenty of $$$. These cases are going to cost $2 million TOPS. That’s drops in the bucket and a worthy investment. Even if it was $10 million, no one cares when you amortize it over 10 YEARS.

There’s nothing to these cases but rehearsed mud slinging. This isn’t a MURDER case involving witness prep.

I just think our higher ups know an answer is coming next month so WHY waste when the answer is coming by SUMMER. If fsu gets out next month, we’re suing MAY and in B10 by August.

Heres to hoping Rad just isn't talking about behind the scenes conversations...though I hoped that about baseball, so theres that...

On the flip side, I think that ESPN basically blows this whole thing up in six months and GOR is dead in 27 and they put Clemson unc and fsu into the SEC. We end up in the B1G

He also played behind that in 2021 and was lights out. The difference was the OC knowing his line was weak and scheming around it vs the OC who only knew how to run an offense when his line was dominant.

The new Chair of the UM BOT is Laurie Silvers, she is a double UM alum, an experienced attorney who worked in the communications industry. She is also a media entrepreneur, having founded the SyFy network. She brought in Isaac Asimov and Gene Roddenberry as consultants for her when evaluating the launch of the SyFy network ... so she seems like she is smart and thinks outside of the box.

You would have to believe with her background, both legal and MEDIA INDUSTRY, she, more than anyone on the BOT clearly understands the implications of Miami remaining in the ACC once FSU / Clemson / UNC leave.

Her term ends very soon.

I think who they choose next could be very telling.
