MEGA Conference Realignment and lawsuits Megathread(Its still personal)

Hahahahaha! Soooo predictable and why those trying to justify an "easy path" to the Playoff if we just stay in a watered down ACC are beyond misguided.

Btw, Baghdad Bill Hancock is THE man you want to hire if you ever need someone to be the public face of constantly shifting positions. That dude flip flops more than Jimmy McEltoof trying to tackle a shark on the deck of the SS Crisco.

It’ll be 5 SEC 5 Big 10 and 2 from Big12/ND

The heat is slowly going to turn up from the Miami fan base. 2 decades of bad decisions has a lot of people rattled. I have to think that Rad is working things well behind the scenes though. If Blake James was here, I would be hitting the panic button myself.

Par for the course will be us being left out. Stuck in the ACC after FSU, Clemson, UNC and UVA leave. Looking forward to seeing UConn on the schedule in the future when they join the ACC to help salvage a dying league. Of course we will be getting left out. ******* Donna Shalala
Who the **** are you? "left out"?? Christ what a horrible take. Miami = lock for the Big 10. This place is getting sad.

The FEAST agrees and has hit the panic button.

FSU is 100% right in what they're doing. We need to be right there with them. Allowing the ACC to soldier on in zombie fashion means that every single team in it is finished. We can't let no hopers like duke and wake keep us from getting out.

If the ACC runs on its current course until 2036, we're all wake forest at the end of it.

Would love for someone to sit down with John Swofford & ask what he was thinking. Sadly, the ACC is paralyzed due to his getting taken to the cleaners by Disney/ESPN. Genius ADs & presidents obviously lacked vision to gaze into the future. Question for legal minds is could the ESPN-ACC contract be challenged if ESPN gets sold off?

Crazy times. The death of two conferences in a matter of days. PAC 12 is done. ACC won't be far behind since there's now no schools left to add that are worth a ****. Just a matter of who gets out when.
SEC only has 14 schools. They are currently 4 behind the Big 10. There is room for other to join. However, ***** them both.... They will eat each other everything year. Let FSU and Clemson bolt. Miami can rule in what is left of the ACC. Us going 10-2 or 12-0 in the ACC in the future will grow us more so than being 7-5 in jam packed SEC or Big 10.

Don't even know where to start with this post.

No it won't ... not playing games against BC and Syracuse being broadcast EXCLUSIVELY on Disney + streaming service. In 4 years you will literally need to be in a B2 conference to get any national exposure and recruiting advantages will be HUGE for the P2 conferences. Miami needs to go NOW regardless of the cost in order to get a seat at the B2 table or face the fact that they will basically be a small regional team period.

SEC will add four more.
FSU, UNC, who are the other two?

You can trace most the mess the ACC is in now to the rush to get the ACC Network off the ground.

Zero chance this happens, so let’s at least stay with what is realistic. If FSU and Clemson bolt, the ACC is finished as we know it other than a loser conference. Because they will be followed very quickly by UNC and Virginia. FSU is clearly looking at going ballistic and raising the money to stay in business while lawsuits get worked out over years.

@genetics believes TWO ACC teams will bail first, potentially FSU and UNC. Then what? Still like the idea of a mass exodus of the Magnificent Seven along with Louisville and ND ... 9 programs. That would work IF the SEC would actually take four ... but I feel that somehow right now two is their max, with four to the B10, two the the B12 and ND with a B10 scheduling agreement. We gone. Wishful thinking.
