All good my friend. All games matter to me & I don’t like any of these re-alliances. Bro, I’m still ****ed that Seattle is no longer in the AFC, that Tampa Bay is no longer in the NFC Central, or New Orleans no longer in the NFC West. I don’t get this new CFB map at all, & I’m through & through a traditionalist that don’t like change, but life forces u to adapt. With this hyper reactive climate, ppl voice frustrations & concerns about sports initially, but then they quickly move on.

Rivalries are great for sports, but I just feel like in football they come & go so quick b/c teams can’t sustain success or relevance. Regardless, I’ll personally miss OU & OKSt

12 team playoff
P3 conference set up
If it gets us a better tv deal on par with B1G and SEC I’m all for it. Main thing is we need that money.

the problem is there are too many mouths to feed. The only way anything like this works is by kicking the lower revenue schools out or doing some form of unequal payouts. I actually think you could put together a solid 3rd conference to compete with the big/sec but you have to be willing to hack away at lower revenue schools significantly.

The NCAA won’t be in charge of the TV deals going forward. All the money will go to the conference. Why would they need to share? It’s no longer a socialist system. The money makers eat. They’ll structure the rounds like basketball. The further you go, the greater percentage you/the conference gets. My guess

Didn’t the NCAA already (brilliantly /s) give someone else the rights to the football playoff TV revenue? The conferences already had their rights to sell.

The NCAA lost the rights in 1984. They’ve been a partner since. That’s all coming to an end. The congresses want to go it alone. This chapter of college athletics is quickly coming to a close.

Oh I meant too many schools to feed if you do some merger of pac/b12/acc schools to form a new conference. I wouldn’t mind a conference with these teams as the basis:

Miami
Clemson
Fsu
Oregon
Washington
Oklahoma State

You can sprinkle in other teams from the acc/b12/pac to make it more lucrative based on markets. You may even be able to lure ND or even USC from the big with that cast of characters.

But a lot of teams from those conferences would be left in the cold.
