What needed to happen happened. BYU lost BIG, Bama lost BIG(Either Bama had to win, or get blown out, there was no in between). Duke beat Virginia(Which theoretically gives Miami another way in, albeit an unlikely one)

That said, we know that this committee is basically making up rules as they go along, so who knows. Hope for the best, and know that no matter what happens, Mario stood up for his program in a way that we haven't seen around here in a long time.

Somehow that game refuses to get brought up by people and they simply keep penciling in bama

They’ve played like *** for over a month and barley escaped a 5 (or 6 can’t remember) auburn team with a interim HC GTFOH

Most of the other conferences have that tiebreaker structure as well. Get ready to see those conferences and the ACC all vote that highest rank is the 2nd tiebreaker going forward. Such a cluster**** and only in the ACC.

Yeah it’s the worst loss any potential playoff team is carrying. FSU is trash. They have made it clear the first week is just preseason in their minds if Miami gets left out.

No doubt Phillips has to be fired. From the terrible officiating to unbalanced schedules and finally lack of foresight to ensure proper tiebreakers are in place.

That’s also not even bringing up the most important piece - the ACCs reputation nationally is dogsh*t compared to the other 3 P4 conferences. And that’s all while having Miami/FSU/Clemson in your conference which the Big12 would kill to have.
