Nazare is ridiculous. My favorite wave is at teahupoo. Its almost as if the whole ocean just falls onto the reef instead of the wave rising put of the water. Very unique hyrdrodynamics.

Im assuming these are winter waves as well. I take my kids surfing on easier waves in the summer in the Caribbean. I'd love to just go watch this. When's the best time of year/place to see it?

I think this wave is only accessible by boat. You should check out a surfing documentary called riding giants.
