Complaint against our players by AppState Color Guard

whole ***** place is just weird from the idiot band members blocking the football player's entrance to the creepy camera shots of hillbillies watching the game from the wilderness peaking through branches. No other legit team should travel to that **** hole again

Agreed, they don't deserve a legit team going there. This bs will only hurt their next "super bowl" type game. Skydivers lol

Do they place the color guard blocking the visiting teams entrance on purpose? Seems like it since she stated its happened several times before.
It's reall bush league bs at its best.

Regarding report Miami players "assaulted" App St students: "There is no indication of inappropriate conduct," Miami AD Blake James said.

Lock the thread...

JC

And permanently ban daytonacane as well

Hey Ibisrules, this was all over the internet and was certainly no secret. Guess you are the type that prefers to stick his head in the sand and ignore. I can't believe some of you guys are concerned about this being posted, and thinking "OMG we may get in trouble". There is absolutely no evidence our players did anything whatsoever wrong, so why is everyone so dam*** scared? Ibisrules, Is there a new rule that any bad accusations against us cannot be posted on this internet board? Get real!

So far no has come forward with evidence of this tragic event.

How about the alleged victim? Will they make a statement?

I'm loathe to weigh in here - not least because women often don't report abuse because they don't think they will be believed, and when they do report it, they are often not believed. These are real problems, but,

The entire issue revolves really around one word: "grope". Take that out, and we have at most, an issue of rudeness (comments, taunting) and procedure (band location). "Grope" invokes sexual assault, and the schools are required by Title IX to investigate - otherwise they open up themselves to civil suit.

What's interesting about this case that we've yet to hear a first hand account. The Facebook post is from someone who did not, by her own account, get knocked down, get groped, etc. She was talking about other people. She was clearly upset about not getting to finish her routine. It is of course entirely possible she threw in "grope" as hyperbole in a moment of anger at getting interrupted.

It also can't be ignored that Boone is in a part of the country that, let's say, has had it's race issues in the past. The color guard - young white women. The football players - large black men. Men who ended up at least bumping into them. My high school's freshman team went to play a game in Erwin, TN - which is less than 60 miles from Boone. We were turned back and not allowed to play, because we had a black player on our team. And this was in 1985.

Add to this that the band leader had "warned" them that UM players do that sort of thing, and that UM players are "scum" (as if the band leader would have any basis for such an irresponsible claim), does call into question the Facebook post's veracity - which is at this stage the only evidence on offer.

If that happened it would have been horrible but i don't believe it

The video evidence and her own hearsay, then the comments about the band Director put this in laughland territory. By all means, investigate the s##t out of this.

I can't wait for ol' girl to get hoisted by her own petard.

Porter called her out by name, looked her fb up....sho nuff...triggered and has knights galloping in.

I would advise refraining from raining down on her...let her keep talking...don't give her any hate ammo.

Can't wait to hear the band director's contribution....please lets get some people actually involved talking...

So let me get this straight. This allegedly happened in front of thousand of fans with tv cameras and photographers panning in from every direction; yet there's not a scintilla of evidence to support the accuser's account that a battery or sexual battery occurred in public while UM was taking the field in a nationally televised game. Further, no incident report was filed by the accuser prior to peddling uncorroborated, slanderous, libelous allegations to media outlets.

“It has happened before in my three years here, and I do realize that it’s a poor placement for us to be so close to [players],” Randleman said. “In other situations where it has occurred, the teams would run through and not make a big deal out of it. In some cases, players have apologized.

“In that case, it’s fine. In this case we were harassed and interrupted, and I would like to avoid this happening to us or any others in the future.”

So they interrupted them and thats the problem? Stupid is forever

This is a wake up call for the App store administration to move the band from being anywhere near the opposing team entrance. Apparently, from her statement, they have had close calls before and never did anything about it. Guarantee you there will be changes at App Store home games from here forward-that's as far as I see this going. Maybe a brief mention from CMR to the team on our end.

It didn't happen. Period.

Hundreds of videos. In front of 30,000. Where's the evidence?

There's something else at play here.

So my uncle actually works in the athletic department at App State. Just called him and he said App State actually has a camera that shows a Miami player groping a female color guard member. He said it appears the Miami player inserts his finger in the young woman's ****. He sent me the video and before I post it none of this is true and thanks for playing...
Psst... Pm me the video, ok?

Course ESPN doesn't want to show us any love for our play but the second some news of a scandal appears they make an article about it.

I've just received an explanation of what happened. Apparently Quicksilver runs through the smoke every game with Canes.
He was feeling a little froggy last Saturday and freaked a few Boone Bytches at light speed.

Quicksilver is slow compared to Sam Bruce.....even with one leg.
