I see that shockingly.
They have actually given themselves an out after this weekend’s games and believe it or not I think Notre Dame could be the loser.

I know I talk about the great 8 and ND being untouchable, but it’s actually the SEC running this thing.

They have saved Alabama by moving them ahead of Notre Dame. They have put Notre Dame in a lose lose situation if BYU wins they are in Notre Dame is out if BYU loses now there’s a head-to-head competition between Miami and Notre Dame and they will ultimately potentially maybe make the right call and you head to head as the tiebreaker!!!!!

There is also a scenario where Alabama gets smoked BYU get smoked and they potentially move Miami to nine and leave Notre Dame at 10. I find that highly unlikely due to it being a championship game but let’s say the quarterback gets hurt or Alabama gets beat 40 to 3 it could happen!

So to me, this is a total hedge, but they fired a warning shot, saying Notre Dame you are definitely at risk!

I’m actually happy with the results today where they are squeezing Notre Dame to Miami!!!!

A lot of you are in denial. They moved Alabama up one spot for one reason so that if they lose they can drop them down 1 spot, show that it had an impact, but still have them in the playoffs. So that means if Bama loses they swap back with ND, meaning that Miami and ND will not be next to each other and this dream H2H scenario won't happen.

It is clear BYU needs to lose and Bama needs to win, that is the only way to ensure that ND and Miami are next to each other and the H2H situation could possibly work.

If the committee is “forced
ND dropping to 10 is huge. BYU loses and we jump 1. That leaves us and ND side by side. They will be forced to move us ahead.
If the stars align and this happens…the committee is “forced” to have Miami ranked ahead of ND, the question you should ask yourself would be why weren’t we ahead to begin with 2 weeks ago bc there haven’t been any outside variables.

There are scenarios for both Miami and ND to be in, both out, or just 1 in. The Saturday games and the final rankings on Sunday will be filled with drama. 🙌

Great point, its all about the SEC for ESPN.

Did you notice they also took away our ranked win against Putt since Pitt is no longer ranked after getting dragged by you know who. In a way Miami was actually penalized for beating them so bad.

Why are you so convinced the H2H win over Notre Dame will only come into play if we are 10 and 11? They stated a couple of weeks ago that it comes into play when they're in the same pool, which they are in now (9-12). They are already taking H2H into account and preparing to **** us anyways.

The chairman’s rationale for moving Bama up defied logic. It was almost like I was watching a lie being told as if it was truth. Let me see if I can articulate what he said.

Auburn is a good team and better yet they are a rival. So basically he was saying it was a tough game.

Bama had a great drive to end the game.

Bama was ballsy for going for it on 4th down so that gives them extra credit.

I mean my gosh the whole argument is utter political manure. Auburn is a bad team. Really bad. They fired their coach as a result. They also are unable to catch a forward pass. I have never seen so many drops in a college game. And yet the reality is, Bama squeaked out a win against a bad team that could not catch a ball. They didn’t have some great game winning drive against an equal, stud opponent. And somehow this was spun into the best team in the land beat the second best team in the land thus they deserve a bump. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Do you guys not understand what the committee just did?

They just protected Alabama in case they lose vs Georgia, they will then have a spot to drop them down to. ND will then move back up to where they were.

They are not going to leave ND out for Miami, IMO. I obviously will be happily shocked if it happens.

I would’ve preferred to have seen ND jump Oklahoma and then Miami move up to #11. That would’ve told me that Alabama would be in danger still.

A coachless 5-7 team took them to the brink and they got rewarded for it.

Lies being told as if they are truth? Sounds like a normal Tuesday in America for the last 25 years, longer even.

Agree with this 100%. They are safeguarding in case BYU WINS OR LOSES. Bama doesn’t move unless they get completely embarrassed. When BYU loses and it could be interesting.
