Colorado sucks…

Aggressive bladder cancer, it had to be removed.

Literally doesn’t have a bladder. Reconstructed part of lower intestine.

He wears a Colostomy bag too, if I'm not mistaken.
A fellow poster mentioned turf toe. I think it's considerably worse than that as I believe he had several toes removed. He came close to needing amputation of leg.

the guy literally thought he could recruit by literally never doing home visits. As if a complete team was just going to come to him without any real effort...
**** is unreal. I remember when he signed on at JSU, I told my dad that he was going to be a thorn in the side of the lower tier SEC schools in the recruiting ring. I figured that his charisma and standing with the Black Delegation/The “Culture”, especially in TX, Fl and GA would be enough to annually bring in top 15 level classes, but **** was I wrong. His arrogance is going to be his undoing, akin to Apollo Creed’s in the Rocky movies. Deion is the 2026 coaching version of David Ruffin, his ego is massively overinflated. I’m glad that our guy’s approach is the opposite.

Hmmmm interesting Rocky analogy, which I always appreciate. To me, Mario is like Clubber Lang before the first fight in Rocky III. Just training in an angry fashion (and Ive said our teams in the 80's were like 'the Southside Slugger), while Coach Prime recruits the way Rocky trained for that first fight in what Mickey called ''a house of ill-repute'.

But yeah, it's a lazy approach

Really good stuff. Haven't been there in decades but I can't count how many times I went there as a kid.

I haven't been on base since 2001.
I miss that place and wanted to do the tour as I still keep in touch with several astronomers who I played softball with.
This NASA base, or at least part of it, administratively belongs to the Department of Agriculture which "lends" NASA, Secret Service and other agencies land.
Lots of cool stories I've heard over the years regarding weird hybrid plants that DOA grows and monitors plus the local farmhouse are occasionally used for "safe-houses", but who knows if this is true. Secret Service has a fake city compound where they practice their duties. There is (or was) a non-descript warehouse a few miles away where Smithsonian housed some of their artifacts that were not meant for public display, among the artifacts including Abraham Lincoln's blood stained clothes he wore on the night he was assassinated.

If you’re ever up for it, I’d love to hear more about your time at NASA, and also tidbits like this. (Maybe start an off-topic thread.) I’ve always been fascinated with that stuff, and it seems there’s plenty of others here that are interested.
