Coley "Thoroughly" Enjoys Visit

I'm hoping we land Coley. Hopefully AJL got good scores. Would be a ridiculous offense the next 3-4 years.

Coley is by far better then Cooper coming out of high school IMO, might still be better even now.

Major FAP, just saying

Don't know if he's better. He's different. Either way, we need his style of different.

Coley is runs good routes, catches the ball well with his hands away from the body, knows how to attack the ball at it's highest point, and has good football speed. However, the thing that sticks out with Coley is that he has world class quickness and doesn't slow down when changing directions. He could stand to get better with his route running, and should come to due to his ability to stop on a dime. The other knock on him is that he needs to add muscle to make an impact on the next level.

I think he's a rich man's version of Ivan McCartney

Cooper was a stick coming out. Just get him on campus...I think he passes up a few wrs we have penciled in for next year if he becomes a Cane.

I don't care if we brought in alot of WR's last year, we need this kid. Can never let the studs from SoFla leave. Doesn't matter if we have bigger needs at DT. I think our offense next year will be EXPLOSIVE.:neonu:

Being the pessimist I am, I am pessimistic about Coley. I just havent gotten a good "vibe" from this situation at all. Its good that he is giving us a hard look now, but I just dont see it. I think our record the last two years, and the looming NCAA sh*t is what is keeping us from getting over the hump with kids like this.

**** what I wouldnt give to land this kid, Collins, get Bryant back, Botwick qualified, and Matt Thomas. This class would be S*CK. Absolutely the #1 class nationally, on a pro rated basis.

I've never seen this kid play, but **** yall got me hyped up! I saw one guy in this thread say he's better than Cooper was coming out. Is that how most feel?

I really think we will get Coley. Goerge McDonald is as good as it gets and I'm sure Coley will realize that

Think about it though. Kid isn't getting recruited all year because of his "immaturity," among other things. Now, you have his coach saying how he has really grown up and now Miami wants him again. It makes me think that UM kept in contact, at least with his coach, and told him that if you do this, we will recruit you. Now he's taking OV's here and I don't think we did any teeth pulling. Basically,t his kid made affirmative steps so that he could get to Miami. He's gonna be a 'Cane.

btw how awesome is it to have all these 'Canes down here coaching now? You know Steve Walsh won't allow any kind of nonsense with Rudolph next year, and Bennett is clearly a big part of Coley's recruitment (in a good way, though).

Don't ever want to hear about how great Al recruits if he loses Cooper and Coley in consecutive years. Coley is an absolute must get. You can't keep letting top shelf talent from your own backyard get away.

I also do not have a good vibe about Coley. From what I have heard and read, the kid is not coming here. I hope I am wrong cause kid is the # 1 WR in the State.
