Malek Young's future here is looking a bit grim with the incoming players. I don't see how he'll keep his spot.

This team sucks at the start of a game and that is either poor gameplanning, lack of urgency, or a combination of both. I don't believe it's a talent issue as it happens to **** poor teams just as much as it does against quality competition.

Injuries throughout the year have certainly affected offensive continuity, but even at full health Rosier is woefully inaccurate. We Essentially had two miracle last second wins not because of Rosier (besides putting the ball in the area of Langam at FSU, etc) but due to a crazy play made by one of ours.

We had an extra day off this week, So I don't buy the missing a bye week stuff. Whatever, I picked Clemson to win the ACC to win and thought we would make it to the ACCCG, just wish we had put up more of a fight.

I tried to tell people that he wasn't as good as those PFF stats suggested.

If these FR are as good as the hype, Young won't start next year.

Our offense also regressed from last year too.

Brad Kaaya 13 Games in 2016: 3532 Passing Yards, 62% Completion %, 27 TDs and 7 INTs, 1 Rushing TD

Malik Rosier 12 Games in 2017: 2917 Passing Yards, 55% Completion $, 25 TDs and 11 INTs, 427 Rushing Yards and 5 Rushing TDs

- Our offense scored more TDs with Rosier (30 v. 28, keep in mind Malik has another game)
- Our offensive production via our QB has 200 yards less. Keep in mind Kaaya's stats are through 13 games and Malik's are through 12.

Breaking down this game would put me in an early grave. You're a better man then I trying to rationalize the minutiae of this game.

Simply we put, we ain't ready for this **** yet. In every measure. We ain't built for it yet. Will we ever be? I don't know.

We don't run the ball and as a result, we have a ridiculously inefficient offense that is constantly putting the defense in a bad spot.

Diaz's defense is predicated on pressure, turnovers, and in many ways "bend but don't break"...his defense is fine, but if you have them on the field for 35 minutes in a game (Canes averaged 27m in TOP all year...bottom 10 in the nation) they are going to get busted. Also, the defense ain't built for this **** and to be fair, I don't think Diaz's defense will ever be schemed to play big boy football (I still like him, but yeah).

Big boy football is about stopping the run (Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, and Wisconsin all in the Top 15 against the run) and limiting YAC (Clemson, Bama, Wisconsin, Georgia, Ohio State all in Top 7!! in Yd/Att in pass defense). Miami's profile is more favorable with Oklahoma, but we don't play in the Big XII (and watch what happens to Oklahoma now that they are going to be playing the big boys in the playoffs). The above teams rely less on turnovers on more on just stopping you. We have a strong defensive line individually, but if you compare it to the big boys in their production (especially against the run and contributing to stopping the bullshyt bubble screens/flares) we are just a step, schematically behind.

I surprised Clemson didn't score more. Game was over first quarter. Missed fg was it for me. I knew then nothing would go right the rest of the way. Canes are 2 years away from elite level play. Perry would be RS sophomore then and Canes would have better depth across the board. Canes had horrible depth at QB, RB, TE, LB and a punter to boot to compete in CFP.

The reality: No matter the game plan, we were NOT beating that Clemson team last night. They were better in every facet imaginable. Each of their units was bigger, stronger and faster than ours. We were overmatched.

Not even worth going into details. We need more top talent across the board in order to compete with the Top 5 teams.

That said, Clemson looks the best out of all of the playoff teams in my opinion. I think Clemson and Georgia.

I actually loved what I saw. We used pistol formation with motion to confuse their front 4. We ran jet sweeps, wildcat formations, reverse to Rosier for deep ball, and we moved the pocket and took shots down field.

I really hope we keep the pistol formation – I think it suits as well and there's a lot you can disguise out of it.

Oh I agree; but momentum is a mutha. I think we still lose, but it’s competitive. When u got balls literally hopping in and out of a players arms w no one around, and ur able to capitalize on that, not once, but twice! U know it’s ur night!

Yeah the little toss to Homer was Richt's genius game planning. Clem is really good but they did lose to Syr, However we could have easily lost to Syr and GT and NC and Virginia. So I really just think we benefited from 2 massive home field advantages vs VT and ND. Who just didn't have a throwing QB. We like to play teams that run first and then have a bad QB. Any QB and opposing OC can easily rip apart our secondary. No arguments. Just look at the numbers. The O line was weak all year generally speaking. It's easy now to see, cause sometimes we just get all caught up in the hype and think we are invincible. Rosier was hot and cold, just go re watch the games. I still and always will be upset that Richt hired his own son as a coach. Nepotism is never a good idea.

I can't understand why he hasn't learned that our zone makes every QB look like a Heisman finalist.
