There's a great chance we'll be ranked top 5 heading into the Virginia Tech game.

Man that game is going to be fun

Historically, power 5 conference teams rise in the rankings until they get their first loss. So until we lose, UM should be ranked ahead of every team with a loss.

This is the one that chaps me.WTF have they played.Their best win is against a ****** Indiana team unless you want to count Nebraska yesterday as their best but they suck just as bad.
Then Army,Rutgers,Maryland powerhouses as well....they’ve played one decent team and got whipped..AT HOME!!!

I understand we haven’t played a murderers row either but at least we’ve beat the ones we played.I understand Clemson.Theyve beat 3 top 15 teams.

As are Penn State and Georgia. At least Penn State has the buzz of having the future Heisman winner but all this premature slurping of Georgia in an effort to boost the SEC's overall reputation is annoying as f*ck.

Yea, I’m not feeling UGA either. SEC east sucks horsec0ck. They’re awful.

The only poll that matters is the one that CFP committee puts out. Both of these are irrelevant.

You might be giving too much credit to the committee's intellectual independence there.

I bang this drum every chance I can get though (and it's even irrelevant if the Canes are in the mix or not)- I just wish these polls and/or the committee only mattered in determining 3 at-large spots in an 8 team Playoff. One day the money involved in expanding to it will supercede all the frauds on tv against it......because the annual manufactured controversy gives them content and ratings/clicks.
 
I think OSU and Clemson being ahead of us dog ****, but I'm also just excited to be Top 10. It's been a minute since we've been here, and it's been even longer since I think we deserve to be here.

If we keep winning, the rankings will take care of themselves.

Syracuse is suddenly a test, and it'll count as a quality win for us if we can pull it out.

I'd really like to squash at least one of Syracuse or UNC, for style points. But just keep winning.

Not trying to credit/discredit anything. Right now the only poll that matters for who becomes the champion is that poll. The rest are just things for us to talk about.
