Coach Richt wins that game

Well he was at Uga 15 years and never got to that point once, so there's that. But yeah, he'd won that game though.

It's ok to really like coach Richt, like the direction he's taking the program, see the obvious improvement since he's been here.....and not think he would have won this game.
Seriously. It's ok.
 
If Richt couldn't beat Saban when he was at Georgia, why do you believe he would have last night?
 
You know he watched that game and took some notes. UGA had a very nice gameplan in the first half. Let the QB loose and let him throw the ball and not only throw it but throw some really tough passes as well. Its not like he was throwing bubbles to get loose, he was throwing across the field back shoulders and down the field.

They move away from it second half and it unraveled.

On the other side, Bama flipped the script by going to a QB who could throw the ball as well.

You cannot win on playing conservative and only putting your QB in situations where he is limited. You have to open it up and be multiple in what you do.
 
Loses to a terrible Pitt team, blown out by Clemson, bad loss to Wisconsin...but would have beat Alabama in the NC game...makes sense.

In 2002 and 2012 his teams would have made the playoffs. In 2012 he was four yards away from taking down a mighty Alabama team that went on to destroy ND in the title game. That Bama team was better than this one.
 
Richt never gets to that game. He doesn't keep enough of the key Junior contributors around and that Georgia team would have had 3 losses.

I noticed that as well. Not saying UGA is/was out of shape but their hands were on hips and breathing heavily. Bama looked like they could of played another 4 quarters. Might need to look into that dear antler spray

Bama basically has 3 teams of 4 and 5 star kids. They also know how to pace themselves over 4 quarters, Georgia played crazy hyped for as long as they could and the crash was staggering at the end.

Every coach has them. Urban meyer lost by 50 to iowa and didn't score in the playoffs vs clemson last year.
