They won the SWAC championship for the first time since 2007. And, they had a double-digit winning season.

Nah. Nothing odd to that. ESPN told him he could either accept a pay cut to half his salary or he would be released. Barstool saved his ***. But some people really putting way too much thought into this. Hbcu aren't going to be taking nothing except once in a blue and most of that is simply while schools are figuring out the details with Nils. It's just funny as **** to me how people think Dion is some amazing coach. Dude is clueless and is simply a gimmick. I'm glad for his teams success this last year but you don't have to be some world beater to win when you are playing the girls YMCA on a regular.

Honest question, I havenā€™t watched a second of his games, is he even a decent gameday coach? Itā€™s clear barstool is helping bring kids there, so I know heā€™s not a recruiting savant.

I thought he was at the NFLN but wasn't sure.

What's funny I was just telling @k9cane this same thing , it'll be few and far between. After he leaves it'll be over. But we have posters saying DS is kicking Mc's ***

Exactly. He hasn't proven a thing coaching-wise. He HAS proven that with someone else's money and some fast talking he can get kids to buy into the fad of being "different" and signing with a HBCU. But even that claim is bogus, because the top recruits aren't going to other HBCUs, they are just following the money and fad to Jackson St.

Gaytors just hired Gaypier away out from under the noses of...absolutely nobody else...so I would bet you that several P5 teams would make an offer to Neon, particularly after the past month.
