Coach Ice

Sitting here pondering who might be kept and I came to Ice. I'm not sure if I would keep him BUT I could make a case:
1. Local recruiting ties are obvious
2. Our backs have performed well despite almost no blocking (Yearby could get 1,000 yards)
3. We have great receiving threats out of the backfield. RB screens are an art for all three parts and it takes practice.
4. The biggest one for me: I couldn't find a lost fumble by our starting backs. That's an incredible stat no matter what
5. Not much depth to work with, so basically doing what he can with what he has

Just wanted some honest thought. Do you keep him or not?

Running back is one position you can afford to have a "recruiter" at. Ice is whatever. If Richt wants to keep him that's fine and if not who cares.

I really don't see anything he has done to keep him here. Kids from his own school have gone elsewhere that we wanted. Walton and yearby were not that good this season. Hit the bricks.

Good bye. Richt does a pretty good job at crootin running backs. IMO all of our backs underachieved this year.

The reason they underachieve was because they had no blocking! Barry sanders would have caught **** running behind that ****** *** line! The backs played **** good for a team that had absolutely no line! Keep Ice he did a good job with no line! Don't believe me ask Damarco murry!

Ice is one of our better coaches. When was the last time we had a RB fumble or badly miss a pass block assignment? His recruiting impact was limited due to other HS coaches not buying into Golden. Keep this man on staff as he can coach and the recruiting tie handcuffs are off.
