Coach Hickson, Kansas State

I could see him being support staff if he is was indeed let go. Resume doesn't add up.

The important question is what recruits has he landed? The RB Coach should be the elite recruiter on the staff.

It's probably going to be difficult to judge because he's never coached anywhere where he would be able to land elite recruits even if he was an elite recruiter. Kansas State and the MAC or Sun Belt or wherever, isn't going to lend itself to 4* recruits.

FFS, Seider was a graduate assistant at WVU 10 years ago, and then coached at Marshall and WVU before he earned his rep as an ace recruiter.

Most of these guys start in lower rated programs. IT IS THE NATURE OF COACHING.

Seider didn't have a **** rep as a stud recruiter until he went to Florida, which was 2017, for chrissakes.

When it comes to what Hickson brings to the K-State staff, expect his ties to the Sunshine State to impact the Wildcats recruitment of the area...
Just a few weeks ago during the first Early Signing Period, it was Hickson who signed Akron's top commitment, Keyondre White. A rusher who held offers from Power-5 schools such as Syracuse, Minnesota, Louisville, and Illinois, White opted to stick with Hickson and the Zips.

Last year, Hickson also played a pivotal role in keeping Jeffrey Lubin away from Matt Campbell and Iowa State, who made a late surge for the defender.

In all, Hickson has been a vital part of luring some 29 Floridians to Akron, Oh. over the past two-three years.

He is local guy from Ft Lauderdale. Coached rbs at one time at American Heritage and coached Sony Michel when he was there.

K State's running back this year has a monster season and declared for the draft.

Other than that, no ******* clue on this guy.

Yeah let’s all go overboard with overreactions and assume this as gospel because every rumor that has come on the board the last week has been 100% spot on.

I myself don't believe it. Didn't come here when I was told. Just noticed the twitter follows and felt it was worth mentioning. No ban bet for me it could all be wrong haha

Right. The key is identifying who has the recruiting reputation.

Who is the Willie Taggart at Western Kentucky? Who is the Tee Martin at New Mexico?
These were guys that were at smaller schools and so weren't going to bring in highly ranked kids. But they were killing it on the trail relative to the schools they were at, and everybody knew these would be elite recruiters if you put them at a school capable of getting elite recruits.

Anybody that didn't think that was going to be the direction we went for the position coach recruiters, was fooling themselves. We just have to hope this guy is that find.

Understood
I was more so addressing all the usual melt down posters that followed, that’s all.

Most people clearly have no idea how Twitter follows work, but in this case you're right. All of his recent follows are the Miami staff and then the school itself. He's clearly been hired.
