Manny got the HC job in 8 hours with no interviews conducted, so obviously there's favoritism there when it comes to Manny. Just because administration was willing to give 1.5mil to Manny as a coordinator dont expect them to feel the same towards someone else

He plugged those leaks tight. It's like Fort Knox right now. Truth is, nobody knows **** about anything.

15 years of having a bad football program and 4 failed coaches in a row tends to make a fan cynical of our recent coaching hire. Most fans had positive vibes when Coker, Shannon, Golden and Richt were hired. It did not take long to see that these 4 coaches were unable to put the Canes back to their former glory. Then Cis posters turned on the hires. We have the same powers that is running this program. Until I see things have changed at the U I am pessimistic that things will improve.IMO Diaz was a lazy hire. Let us see what the next few years will reveal.

Yeah, he's definitely paying attention or being told what's being said. Shot fired across the bow at the beginning of the interview.

I know the history isn't a good one but I really hope that Manny forces them to reconsider their usual penny wise and a pound foolish approach.

I mean, Manny is making much less than Mork. The DC can't be breaking the bank. Mork didn't strap us to his buyout. We did pay 4.5M to Temple Tough for Manny but Soffer was reportedly willing to shell out $10M to Oregon for Wario.

This is a no fûcking brainer. Trying to save $1M or so and strap a new HC coming from Defense with uncertainty on Offense, when Offense was horrific, would be ****ing everything else away... developing, winning and recruiting, specifically.

Let's hope Manny has his OC, who's a good choice, and he is now in the next phase - trying to get the Seiders of the world in the fold.

You dont find it fishy that we can hire a HC in less than 10 hours but it's taking over a week to hire an OC???? For Manny we can get T's crossed and I's dotted in a manner of hours. But for an OC there's a hold up. Somethings up

Its not just an OC its 5 coaches. Hes getting an entire staff together before he announces anything to make sure no one flakes.

No. I appreciate your investigative skills but I'll actually panic if we make a ****** hire or idk, if we don't have 1 by next week or something. Took days to announce Baker after we first saw online reports. I'm still trusting that it will be Major until someone on here with some actually authority tells me otherwise.
