This guy is clueless and needs to go

We've lost 4 in a row and are 5-5 and he comes on and is talking about how good N'Kosi played and the OL played "ok" and how everyone is still competing.

Hey coach, your players look like they quit and we suck.

Sick of his go with the flow laid back, ***** personality. This is the U and we shouldn't lose more than 1 or 2 games a year.

Done with him

Y’all pay too much attention to interviews. CMR is done and he knows it but what the **** do you expect him to say? You don’t talk brave after a four game losing streak and you don’t get too bleak with a game on Saturday.

I expect him to be two games out of retirement. He’s done

What can he say, its all coach speak all coaches do this. When they first arrive every fan believes every BS that comes out there mouth until it catches up with them. This cat is already cooked, the program in general is cooked from top to bottom its fried.

I mean honestly do you expect him to come out and publicly start criticizing players and coaches during the season. The one thing I would like to see more of him do is take accountability for the overall performance!

I expect him to show some sort of frustration/anger for losing 4 games in a row

Even if its coach speak, show that you care somewhat

Said it was all hunky dory except for the turnovers..
Guys arent developing fast enough because they're still young.
Blaming WRs for dropped rocks...
Blowin sunshine up the OL's ***, but was too scared to grade em out..
2 games left in the season and he's still saying all starting positions on the OL are open.

Says its common across the country for HCs to also call plays.
Just because a team has an OC doesn't mean they're definitely a good playcaller.

The usual Rose softballs..

Next.

Why on earth would he say those things? Stop taking things so seriously, especially a softball interview given by one of the worst interviewers in local media.

The same OL that had 85 false starts 2 days ago?? That's nothing but BS coachspeak. He's clueless on the sidelines every **** game. Golden 2.0

Isn't there enough to criticize without hanging on every word of a phone call into the f'ing Joe Rose show?

It's p-r 101. All he has to/should do is shoulder all the blame right now with the caveat that it's his responsibility to fix this.

That then allows the "fix" to be firing/hiring coaches and however you want to deal with the players.

Instead these coaches often come out and insult our collective intelligence by focusing on fake positives. The result is never a pacified fanbase or even media.

Ol' Fairy Jackson has even boarded the Richt bash bandwagon. Which is hilarious given the hard stance he took 2 weeks ago against @Geo305.

Richt could easily give Joe Rose a response of "I'll have to re-evaluate several areas of the program once the offseason rolls around", but instead as you've mentioned, he continues to insult the fanbase's intelligence. The latter point is refuted as guys like Jimmy Johnson have even gone on record saying that Richt's ways of doing things aren't long term sustainable and he must take a completely different approach.

I do. I think he looks tired and he has other ambitions in life. He was close to retiring after UGA. I could be wrong but I think instead of trying to right the ship he’ll just hang it up

If that were the case, he would never have signed an extension to 2023. I doubt he leaves all of that money on the table.

Listen he needs major coaching changes on staff and a more open mindset, and if this isn’t done in the off season I’ll jump on the Fire Richt bandwagon.

BUT

What do you want him to say? If he comes out and says I need to change this this and this and start calling out people then everyone’s going to start yelling because he’s not doing it this very minute.

What I gathered from the interview is he’s well aware of criticism and knows changes need to be made, but dudes not going to just say that on radio.

Until seasons done if you’re expecting anything earth shattering with 2 more games left you’re just crazy

CMR has to go one way or another after the season. This NEEDS to be done ASAP or the UM football program will further slip down than it already has including with recruiting.

Homie aint retiring anytime soon, people hoping his *** does. He will ride this **** to the ground unless someone has balls to stop it, the fans are the only ones whoever controlled firings cause no one has balls.
