Amazing how Hurtt and Dorsey weren't "good enough" for some on this board to be a Coordinator here, but the NFL happily thinks so

It’s ******* awesome as a Hurricane fan. Most of our “newer” fans are experts on winning, coaching, Upper echelon recruiting, etc…and somehow the rest of us have missed out on it the last 17 years.

NFL coaches >>>>>>> College Football coaches

Saban, Urban Meyer, Lane Kiffin, and Petrine all failed in the NFL.

Jimmy Johnson and Jim Harbaugh are the only college coaches to jump from college to the pros (with no previous pro coaching experience beforehand) and be very successful.

The vast majority of nfl coaches couldnt run a college program like urban Meyer. The guys that succeeds at either/or seem to fail miserably at the opposite.

I'll be honest, my perception of Hurtt was still as the "bag man" type from here and at Louisville. I don't follow the NFL like I do college, and had no idea he had been doing so well in Seattle.
