Clemson will improve by the time we play them. It will still be a stiff test for us…but we’ve improved most at the spots there previously major deficiencies for us (OL, DL and LB). With our new coordinators, we have a real shot to beat them this year but it won’t be easy.

WR room went dry and that offense went to ****. Yes elite QB’s make everything easier, but Trevor Lawrence isn’t even throwing for 25 TD’s with these scrubs on the other end.

ITS FREAKIN DUKE!!! We have guys before season saying having expectations of more than 7 wins is too much for Mario, he needs more time before we can expect wins, Duke just SMACKED Clemson.. We have to start winning, this idea that we pay a coach a premium and then have to wait yearsss before we can actually expect anything when guys are getting wins ASAP.. Im just giving the side eye for the excuses Mario gets, Elko aint been a HC long and he seems to have it figured out..

And we had cancers on our coaching staff too. Anyway it is what it is. Elko is obviously a great coach.

Going 5-7 in your first year will slap the expectations right out of a fanbase that’s for sure

I mean this argument and debate is so old and tired tbh. Does it take 3-4 years? No. Is it gonna take us 3-4 years? Probably

Is that acceptable? No. Is that the reality of it? Probably

**** ya gonna do? Sit up and night and shake your fist at the heavens and wonder why Mario and Mike Elko aren’t the same person? Seems like a waste of energy

A coach doesn't have the proverbial 3 years to turn around a program any more, with the transfer portal & NIL you only have 2 at most.

Never a waste, the standard is the standard.. We cannot accept that ever lmaooo.. Something is wrong if 5-7 becomes the new expectations and we just get soo worn down that we sit like donkey in the rain.. I cant do it.. :ibis-roflmao-sm3:

It’s not an expectation when it literally happens

I dunno. Maybe Miami would have hired Elko as coach if we would have…had a…coaching search for a change…

Ya know what nevermind 😂

I’m not torturing myself on what we could or should be. We will find out what we are pretty soon

Plus every situation is different. Norvell was a bum until all of a sudden he turned it around. They had some weird **** going on there like we did. Sometimes it takes time to clean **** up.
