Clemson/North Carolina

If this was a home game, I'd really like our chances. That being said, they'll have a limited amount of fans and that may nullify a bit of their home field advantage. I think our OL is key and King will no doubt be the X-Factor. If we get beat, I don't think they blow us out by any stretch.

They’re breaking in a whole o-line, are missing their star receivers from the last few years, really have taken a dip at defensive line and no more Simmons.

They also lose Scott.

Lawrence and ETN will obviously win them games but they’re not unstoppable at the moment.

Theyre gonna need TL and Etienne to play at a Heisman level to win it this year. Not nearly as good as they have been outside of those two.

I had to turn the tv off a few times last season. Call me a coward all you want but I watched these kids quit and give up last year several times. I hope they get it together but nothing about what happened last year makes me believe this team is ready for Clemson

If the defense was what made you turn off the tv last year, then @1LuvCane is right.

If this team is anywhere near that disappointing this year, I'll drive you over to Greentree on my tractor so we can turn it into a cornfield.

How can you be scared at a chance to take down the top team? Being the underdog makes competitors rabid beasts. Its what competition is all about...

Anytime we get a chance to play the top team is exciting, I agree. I just don't have high expectations for Manny after last year. What do you predict the Miami Clemson score will be?

My prediction has no relevance on the outcome of the game. So it makes no difference. We can win 3-0 for all i care. A win is a win. I don't need any optics of us being a great team for me to support them with all i got. I'm a Cane thrpugh thick and thin. Stop worrying about what people think of you and be true...

I don't care what you think of me. I don't even know who you are. I'm a Cane thick and thin as well, been a fan for over 30 years the good and bad. But I'm also realistic in what I expect to happen. I would love nothing more than to kick the **** out of Clemson and reclaim the ACC as Ours, but I don't think it happens this year. And why bash me for my score prediction if you are afraid to make your own?
 
Is Clemson more talented? yes. Deeper? Check. But if we play well and they don't, we can beat them. If we get a few breaks, we can beat them. There's no sense in being scared of that game. The pressure's on them. It's not a 41-7 game.

I think Bresee could have an Oliver type impact as a freshman and sure up that d line a bit too. Obviously a large part of Clemson's success were the QB's that have been through there; but having those 4 D linemen for all those years was HUGE for them. It's void was glaring watching them last season. Venables is just Venables and the defense still managed to look elite at times. (TAMU)
 
Call me crazy but I believe vs Clemson the one we need to really scout/control is ETN. I believe we will apply enough DL pressure to disrupt Trevor and our S/CB will be solid covering their WRs (minus their Top Dog).
