Neither did UNC and they had them on the ropes last year. Did FIU have the horses to beat us last year? No. Anything can happen any given Saturday.

This is going to be a game with limited to no home field advantage. We can absolutely win this game if the offense is what we think it can be. Remember, Clemson lost a ton of talent on defense to the draft and their best DE opted out for this season. They also lost their WR1 to injury and lost OC Jeff Scott to USF.

Clemson is on another level right now but we have an X factor in King. That’s the game where his legs could be the difference.

Clemson opens with Wake, then has a non conference and Virginia before us. Hopefully we'll be able to see if they have a weakness.
 
Smack that Clemson QB in the face hard and often from the first snap and put so points on the board and we have a chance but like always the big dogs and to be dog, no more furry puppies. The sad *** Fins use to split with NE because they hit Tom hard and often. No QB likes getting hit.

I cannot wait to see what everyone has to say about Clemson after the 1st four games....The d-line may not be as deep and as experienced, but Bresee is the real deal. I do not see them being nearly as good as they were last year, but can they win the ACC and go undefeated, yes...It comes down to us and UNC to stop them, and that is pretty much it. Which is not saying much when you look at it on paper

This things I want to see the most from our offense is Oline improvement, period.

Defensively we have to be faster that we have been. Covering these high scoring offenses is based on speed. Football IQ, and speed. I mean every once in a while you have to deal with the freaks athletes at WR, but if we cant run with them...leave it alone, because we are not going to stop them either.

Last I heard, Clemson only gets to put 11 men on the field at one time.

UM used to be Giant Killers - when playing a good team - UM was supposed to get an Old-Fashioned-Country-***-Whipping - but didn't.

We didn't have high rated superstars then, either.

Just speed and determination. And it was some kind of fun to watch!

This porst is among the least Canes things I have ever seen on CIS. Open fear to play a conference opponent and predicting a 3 TD loss before we've even played a game this season? Digusting. You should be ashamed of yourself.
