Clemson gametime (speculation, not certainty)

Transitive property often doesn’t work in college football, but for what it’s worth, JKS and that offense did squat against Clemson. Kid is talented, but at the moment that’s all he is.
 
Cal is next level bad. They jumped offsides on a pooch kick of all things giving Clemson a first down. Then on same drive a Cal defender decided he would continue to tackle the QB about 5 seconds after the play was over. First and goal at the 2 as a result. That ended in a TD. Can’t make that stuff up.
 
No doubt Miami will get Clemsons best game, and we have some questions that need answers, but both Cal and Clemson looked average at best. I was really surprised at how poor the Cal qb looked.
 
IMO we need to get our mojo back. Tough against a team like Central Michigan, but Wake basically pushed us around most of the second half and it’s left a bad taste that has me questioning some things.
 
While Clemson is looking better each week, let’s not go overboard. That Cal team is not very good. Made bonehead mistakes, poor tackling, poor play calling, offense unable to execute…….its a wonder they only lost by 14
 
Clemson is playing more physical, especially on D, and will be a handful at home. Like our team, but need to get OL improved & communication on D. Also nice to get a few dinged players back.
 
We dont have the same advantage we have grown accustomed to in the trenches. And Clemson has a defense that is going to give our Off Line problems. This is going to be a hard game, and the environment and desperation of Dabo to resuscitate his program only add to the headwinds we will face.

Health and injuries aside: I still like Mensah and our offense to outscore their QB and offense, even if its by one score.

Idk how Mario thought we were good at OL and didn’t get any good transfers.
 
Those were two very bad teams playing last night. It's okay to say Clemson is a bad team even though they won the game.
 
People talking about what Duke did last year @ Clemson is absolutely irrelevant. If you think Clemson will come out with the same intensity vs us that they came out vs Duke last year in a noon kick then it’s no point in discussing this with you.

I think we will be fine though as long as we don’t have bad TOs/mishaps that give them points and/or short field. We are objectively the better team and as long as the OL is average in pass protection, we will be fine IMO.

If its a night game it was be big atmosphere, and last time I saw our offense WF was stoning us, and Clemson is better defenisvely.
