Clemson gametime (speculation, not certainty)

So the Noon and 7:30 timeslots are between:

Miami at Clemson
Notre Dame at North Carolina


North Carolina does not play this week.
Miami will beat Central Michigan.
Thus, it seems like we would get the 7:30 games if Clemson wins at Cal on Friday night.

That's what I said a couple weeks ago.

If they want to diversify out of the SEC is the only chance. Even then, I'd guess they'll be in Iowa City for OSU and Iowa.

Clemson gets an uncommon amount of noon games. I don't know if it's something they specifically ask for, or what. But a ton of their games are at noon. I fully expect us to get a noon kick up there next week, which is just fine with me. I hope they get pantsed on the West Coast, and come home sad at about 9:00am Saturday morning off a 6 hour flight.

Would prefer a noon start where their team and fans would be sleepwalking. Miami fans with tickets for this game are rooting for a 7:30pm start, and that's their right, but the best case scenario from the standpoint of trying to win would be Cal 49 Clemson 0 and a nooner next Saturday.

As the old saying goes, I think there are two chances of that happening…
I would much rather it be a 12 o’clock kickoff than 7:30 also.
