Class Impact: Elijah Roberts to Miami

Yeah from film and pics I see him progressing like that also. As did pat Bethel. I thought pats HS was very similar to this kid. Just my thought tho..Like I said I haven’t seen buddy in person. I know he’s listed at 6”3 which looks about right. Interested in his length tho which I think is a huge factor playing at the 6”3 275-285 range as a 3tech..but that’s getting technical..I like the kid a lot. I think some thought my comparison to pat Bethel was a knock on him, it wasn’t intended
His wing span is 82in

He just got bumped to a 4 star on rivals. He’s now a 4 star on every major site but a 3 star on the composite rankings. Doesn’t make sense

No he's 4* on every site but only 247 has him ranked nationally so his composite grade is just below the 4* cutoff point of .8901.

Yes these ranking systems are dumb and no I don't put stock in them.

Does the 247 composite update automatically? If not, he may not be a composite if the Rivals four-star bump just occurred.

I think so? He's an 80 on ESPN, a 90 on 247 and a 5.8 4* on Rivals.

All industry services have a different philosophy on number of "stars" distributed with each class. The 247Sports Composite Rating assigns stars based on an approximate average distribution of stars from the industry.

There are 344 4/5* prospects for 2020. If Rivals and ESPN have more 4*s than 247 that means that their low 4* guys get weighted down (to high 3*) like a bell curve to reach this "approximate average distribution".

do you not read the accounts from former players saying they either took money or turned down money. most recent one is gary. the one that got popular during draft day was the ole miss stuff with tunsil among others.

Still doesnt mean every player we dont get is because of bags.
