CJ Bailey needs to come home

The amount of hate spewed towards a guy that accounted for more TDs than Julian Sayin, CJ Carr, and Dante Moore is insane to me.

Is he my first option? No.

But it's crazy seeing people with this much vitriol towards the kid to then turn around and slobber over a guy a 4th year guy in Sorsby that can barely complete 60% of his passes and struggles to throw for over 200 yards/game.

I agreed he hasn't looked great in a lot of scenarios but Beck had the same look in a few games this year... AND he had an elite OL blocking for him.... Bailey was sacked 24 times this year, which was 72nd in the nation.. Beck was sacked 13 times, good for 11th in the country... I wonder how much more comfortable Bailey would look if he trusted his OL to hold their blocks longer?

it's not like Carson ever took over a game with elite play like Ward had to... which game that we won do you think we would have lost if we had Bailey instead of Beck?

I think we beat Louisville if we had Bailey instead of Beck...

Never mind the fact most these cats know little about any of these QBs. They’re just recycling talking points they’ve heard or read. I’ve heard of Mestemaker; but I wouldn’t recognize him if he walked in my house right now.

That’s why I don’t have a dog in the fight because what the **** do I really know.

maybe... Beck was good that game.. 20/30 for 205yds and 2 TDs...

he had an elite TD to Toney, didn't make the backbreaker mistake the rest of the game

The TD to CJ Daniels was a bad decision bailed out with a miracle catch and a braindead moment by the DB....

either way, if we swap the ND game and the Louisville game, we go 10-2 still but 7-1 in conference and play in the ACCCG and still make the CFP if we win against UVA... which Bailey did at NCState... we may have even had a higher seeding because a 11-2 ACC Champ maybe jumps 10-3 Bama SEC champ loser and/or OU and TAMU....

People just don't agree about Bailey's skills.... That's not hate; it's opinion. Seems to be quite a few people who don't see it with Bailey...

Really curious to see who the staff brings in. Hard not to feel like Bailey is being sold here..

Everybody thought Allison was a stud when he was a sophomore in HS. He was balling.

This is about using common sense. We aren't talking about random G5 quarterbacks. Bailey is a guy in our own conference with good numbers, good traits, and obvious ties.

Last year, the only three QBs I brought up were Mendoza, Mateer, and Beck. One was consensus (Mateer). The other two generated massive, often emotional pushback. All three made the playoffs.

No need to reinvent the wheel. Take the easy fit.
