CJ Bailey needs to come home

Sellers is Anthony Richardson with more football intellectual capacity but not as good of an arm and I think would have a higher chance to making it in the NFL as a solid QB if he could get his accuracy in check.

He definitely could benefit from coming back to college (which he is) and resetting from last year and developing other parts of the game in terms of moving of the first read and then taking what is given to him. He should’ve moved on from USCe.

Right now he just holds on to the ball way too long and when he makes the proper read or actually has time to make a throw, he’s missing the throws consistently.

His accuracy dropped 5% points from last year, which is a huge number, especially when he attempted 5 less throws this year compared to last year.

Potential is surely there and I liked him last year.

Mendoza also didn’t have an offensive line at Cal but he was completing throws at a high rate and that team won only because of Mendoza and the good defense they had, especially since Ott didn’t play up to standards, likely due to the o-line.
Agreed with everything

When he was getting the top 10 or #1 pic hype this year a few of us were saying should wait to see how he plays once Rocket Sanders left. They ran that RPO to perfection but you know **** well SEC defenses would adjust

Sophomore slumps are a thing for a reason

Still crazy physical talent if it didn’t break the bank I’d be completely fine bringing him here and letting Dawson help him out by making things a bit easier especially with a good OL and guys like Toney

I hope the team is as fired up as the Bailey/Mendoza lovers.

Leavitt and Sorsby should be at the top of the list. Bailey is really a backup option, who you take if you strike out on the top guys. Lagway coming in is interesting. Insane physical talent, but man his film isn’t pretty. Terrible situation at UF for him, but he’d be as unproven as anyone we’ve played since the Manny years. Need a solid QB next year followed by a transition to Nickel or Coleman

His talent is, which is why he will be drafted so much higher and why Indiana was able to beat good teams this year.

Last year they were a can crusher and got exposed against Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Rourke had 2 torn ACLs. One of which he played the entire '24 season with and still had comparable numbers to Mendoza.

Again, you are missing the point here. Leavitt is an inconsistent passer on deep and intermediate routes. Why would you want a running QB good at short balls? How does that make any sense at all? We are not a short pass, zone-read, RPO offense. We are power run with Air Raid and based on hitting intermediate throws with accuracy. If we don't hit intermediate routes teams simply can load up in the box. Sorsby would fit. CJ Bailey is perfect.

To be fair he was at one point , hasn’t been the same since his brain got mushed by concussions
He was what? The dudes had one good year in the NFL and it was the year Mike was installing an offense no one had film of. His brain has been mushed since Alabama just like the rest of his body. He's been threatening retirement on three separate occasions throughout his career. Yet the genius Chris Greer is said you know what tua you deserve 300 million and to **** our franchise over for the foreseeable future. The dolphins really do deserve tua. Because in what reality should Chris Greer still have a job?

Yeah but Indiana couldn’t beat good teams with Rourke. Which was definitely his fault, not a result of their lines being completely destroyed by Ohio State and Notre Dame, and if Mendoza was there putting up 220ypg with 1 TD and 1 INT like he did against Ohio State and Oregon this year they would’ve won the natty.
