I agree. There was actually a couple throws that I thought were good throws in the first half that his receivers completely misplayed.

Idk if we had officially offered him or not, but after losing his star LT, losing Hollywood Smothers, losing your top receivers and replacing them with portal guys from Miami who weren’t even good enough to get on the field…

Bailey played bad. But the supporting cast was woeful and going back there seems like poor decision
 
NCST lost talent to portal and didn’t do the best job replacing them. With that being said Bailey should have had a better showing with the amount of experience he has had. The OC has been his QB coach since day 1 and Bailey didn’t show any indication of having command of the offense or being able to identify what UVA were trying to do. But that can also be blamed on the OC.
 
I think if he had better accuracy, decision making, pocket awareness, football IQ, mental toughness, processing speed, ball security, leadership, composure, resiliency, vision, and mechanics, he’d be a pretty good QB.

There's 2 years him being good. I thought he was excellent but has to lower his interceptions to take the next step. Some of you might want to be careful putting too much into 1 game.

Pretty sure i wrote that when we were in scramble mode. I would still take Bailey at this point in time over any QB in the room not named Mensah. But I will say, at this point there is no reason to doubt any Evals by this staff.

after what you saw yesterday? Guy rarely tried to scramble. maybe if he did the outcome would have been better. He was frozen and looked like he was in a panic most of the time.
 
People want to be nice to these guys cause they from the crib, most players are ordinary man. Get the dominant trench players and sometimes ordinary looks elite, thats what we doing and its how you dominate. So when you get the special players like Wright Sears Toney etc you destroy everything in your way, there are basic *** players that get big contracts in the league do to great players around them that allow them to.

Just by the way he posts, it tells you everything. CJ Bailey is an option for UM based on the QB play we have at UM not named Mensah.

Hmmm, mechanics can be fixed in this thread, but the mechanics in the other thread are beyond repair, lol. This is way CIS's qb evals are wrong 98.6% of the time
 
It even got worse on the podcast today, now we got the Dmoney on there saying that Bailey needs to go to a better team and he’s just not ready to be the man and he’ll be better with a better team. Lmao no D, NC State needs a better quarterback that that’s what needs to happen. CJ is not a NFL quarterback, he’s barely a college quarterback. Smh
