Was Mullet ever considered for the position? I know the word is he was passed up twice but I don’t know anything about what has gone down in between coaches besides the players asking Paul Dee to hire Coker in 2001. I know some guys are more plugged in to these sort of things but most guys just make **** up

My guess is he is using this to understand if he may want to go back to the college game. Widely known he had no interest in that, so is likely using this to see how it feels without making a commitment.
