He's gotten more touches than any player on the team.If he truly is the best football player on our team he would not be RB3 and competing with Bauman for TE1 snaps.

If he put on HIS frame 45 pounds in one year it **** sure won't be his playing weight. If I had to guess I'd say he's about 185 last I saw him which was bout weeks ago.
This includes Broward:Very rare. I asked ChatGPT not even mentioning CWH, and here’s the response:
Prior to Wheatley-Humphrey, several running backs in Miami-Dade County surpassed the 2,000-yard mark, including:
- Troy Davis (Southridge High School) with 2,211 yards.
- Darren Davis with 2,401 yards.
- Frank Gore with 2,953 yards.
- Bobby Washington with 2,132 yards.
- Duke Johnson with 2,087 yards.
- Joseph Yearby with 2,160 yards.
- Henry Parrish with 2,025 yards.

I'm just telling how they've been lining up and he's been the starter. It wouldn’t Suprise me if Bauman is the Regular Starting TE & Lofton is X -Factor each Week for defense to Figure Where Miami wil Use him that Week.
There definitely won't be any unrealistic expectations put on Lofton by the fans this year......

Just curious but does that include playoff numbers? Because CWH's team never made to a playoff I believe. This includes Broward:
Yearby - 2,160
Knighton - 2,088
Parrish - 2,319
Franklin - 2,282
CWH - 2,076
I'm don't want to undermine it. It's definitely a big accomplishment. But for whatever reason 2,000 yard seasons South Florida have become more common and haven't equated to college success.
Well he did just have a 40 yard TD so he must have some wheels left.Seems like every skill player we put weight on doesn't carry it well and ends up losing a lot of speed. Hope **** cat doesn't fall in to this category.
For what it’s worth every one of those players besides CWH played on championship caliber teams. South Broward was a one man show. This includes Broward:
Yearby - 2,160
Knighton - 2,088
Parrish - 2,319
Franklin - 2,282
CWH - 2,076

This is my take on this, Lofton is going to be a problem and I understand he is very athletic but if he’s taking snaps away from Fletcher and Lyle then we have a problem. We shouldn’t be asking him to carry any loads of our running game. If our RB had more depth, this wouldn’t be a discussion, imo. Lofton is far more valuable and needed in other areas (TE room) in the field than at RB. Hopefully, we stay healthy and bring in actual RB to help that room.Last year, we had Martinez, Fletcher, Lyle and Ajay Allen. They all needed some carries.
We’ll see. The disconnect is that most people have never seen him run. He only had two carries in games (a short TD and a 30-yard fake punt). Hopefully we get an extended and healthy look in the spring game.
I agree it’ll look that way for the most part but the bowl game is the last game of the season. Playing 12 game season is a totally different approach. If he gets hurt playing RB than we failed him and the team, imo. Move him around as the weapon he is.I recently re-watched the bowl game. Lofton was all over the field. Martinez and Fletcher both played the full game, as did Arroyo and McCormack. Lofton still got carries and receptions. This is what I envision happening this season, too.
Dawson will get a lot of good job offers if he can have another good offense with an entirely new cast, one of them being a bit of a gadget player (I don’t think that term applies but not really sure what else to call Lofton at this point)He's gotten more touches than any player on the team.
People (not you) act like Lofton didn't score 11 combined touchdowns against Chamonade and Centralits not really a mystery its what lofton mostly did for gorman.
He can be a legitimate big back in certain offenses (ours) some of those big 10 teams.
I dont know if you know but giving a Najeh Davenport comp is high praise in south florida. It wasnt a put down.
Lofton was my fav recruit in his class but he is getting close to Devin Hester alien Grassy days hype now on here lol
CWH was 175 on his recruiting profile.
He was listed at 180 on the roster last year.
Coach Merritt said he came in at 170 (probably meant "in the 170's") and said he's now "almost" 200 (which I'm guessing means 190ish).
So I'm guessing he's put on more like 15 lbs.
We wouldn't have to assume if Miami didn't weirdly put out a roster with no weights on it.
**** i laugh at one Damari joke and now I'm a fsu fan.![]()
