He’s a good football player though. If he was 200 then I agree. Not saying our coaches are lying but if the plan was just to pack on weight then it might not be his “playing weight” yet if that makes sense?

If he put on HIS frame 45 pounds in one year it **** sure won't be his playing weight. If I had to guess I'd say he's about 185 last I saw him which was bout weeks ago.

Elijah Lofton Maybe More FreShman DJ Williams than Davenport. DJ Body Was wide at 6’2 235 Much Like Lofton.
It’s a Mystery How good a Running Back Lofton is. He destroyed Central Highschool & even Hurdled over a Tackler & kept running. Jerome Bettis is what come to mind. 6’247 lbs bowling ball at Notre Dame.

its not really a mystery its what lofton mostly did for gorman.

He can be a legitimate big back in certain offenses (ours) some of those big 10 teams.

I dont know if you know but giving a Najeh Davenport comp is high praise in south florida. It wasnt a put down.

Lofton was my fav recruit in his class but he is getting close to Devin Hester alien Grassy days hype now on here lol

He’s plenty big for RB - he’s a beast. Personally, it makes me real uneasy he’s RB3 despite the hype train behind him. I don’t believe he has the wiggle or explosiveness to be a good RB but hey, what do I know?
