All these dudes can leave Miami but dont fu cking come back. Cuz if you go to UF you sure as **** dont have to worry about coming back on sundays

It's there life and if they feel hats the best for their present and future who tf are we to hate them for it? Sometimes it doesnt work out here and if so then good luck now i wont cheer for you to win that's for **** sure but I hope you still put on and make people remember how rich the talent is in Dade, Broward an Palm Beach

Not hating anyone, im happy for any young black male who can get himself an education. Dont want to see them make a 30 year mistake when football doesnt work out for them

True, that's why I would want them to really do research on each program. With that said I don't think Lammons is going to UF

Its possible Lammons and Lane are going to BBQ to talk to Coach G and maybe commit to him right there. Wouldn't be surprised if they want to lock their spot up now with Golden

Although we have all seen that song and dance before..

I would honestly be with you if Lane wasnt so emphatic about being with Wilson. Lammons on the other hand to me isnt going to UF so he may actually be committing on Sunday

look i'll say this again,

any local recruit that gives you a fair shot, doesn't talk smack I have respect for.. (as soon as they play a down for FSU, UF I wish harm to them but thats a different story)

the ones that talk smack and pretend Miami owes them something need to disappear. I hope they get lied to during recruiting, I hope they end up on the bench and get kicked off the team and end up pumping gas for ever.

Thats the thing that weird about this... I could see if they played on the same side of the ball and wanted to "play together" but there only going to be on the same team thats it.

Maybe Ermon has had time to think this over. If he has reservations about competing for a job, then go to UF where they practically hand you everything. Hopefully Herb Waters has talked to him a little bit and said, " see if you put the work in you will get PT"

I dunno this is another one of those head scratchers that I cant put my finger on.

BTW Quincy would have a Cane offer if he played Safety... Its been said multiple times the staff wants him as a safety not a DB. So he needs to stop acting like Miami wont offer because they will. I just want to see what happens if he gets to UF or wherever he goes and they place him at safety. Thats one thing I love about our coaching staff and Golden is that he does not bull**** you, hes straight forward and honest and doesn't play games

Pete has said multiple times Quincy has no offer of any kind, regardless of position. Staff just isn't high on him.

I agree! The kid can play against HS kids just fine, with him being so slow, how the **** is he going to cover a guy who can run 4.4 or 4.5? Don't want.

I'll be honest..... Do. Not. Want. Kid is overhyped. Incredibly slow for a player his size. Been running 4.7-4.8s this summer. Small and slow is a bad combination. Imo of course.

what do you guys not get about ermon going to uf. quincy said they commited together and ermon plays us out on twitter. unless he is trolling uf, we aint getting him.

NY, most of us already have given up on the thought of getting Lane a long time ago. It would be cool if he is trolling UiF, but we all "know" he's gone.

Tennessee been getting them recruits lately. What's going on up there?

If I were a football recruit I'd go to the U. I've attended UM games since the early 60's.

Football time in Tennessee is very special. Neyland Stadium is one of the "big houses" in college football. As a UT alumnus from Miami and hard-core UM fan my experience in Knoxville was an excellent time in my life, even though I had to look hard to find a sports bar to see some of the UM games not locally televised.

I've heard all the variations on the "stupid rednecks" themes and that's fine if you feel that way. But, don't think that everyone who visits UT's campus and facilities will be unimpressed. Many who think that don't have a basis for comparison anyway as they have never set foot on the UM campus, much less afford the tuition.

So what's going on up there? Who knows, I doubt if the Vols fans are willing to compete with Alabama, LSU, and Mississippi for recruit$$$. Maybe the recruit likes the school and the area?

Tennessee has a bunch of legacy recruits (Wharton, Kelly, Bates, and Berrys) and in (and near) state kids that hthey have been going after. They've played the playing time angle as well as being the class that brings Tennessee back to prominence along with playing in the SEC. Their staff has been putting in the recruiting work and even though I expect them to be middling I expect most of the class to stay together.

Getting Corn Elder from Tennessee was huge.

Kentucky and Tennessee are having the new coach high.....we unfortunately had the NCAA temper the bump in recruiting first year coaches usually get.

I really haven't seen 1 reason to be optimistic that we get Lane. I moved on a while ago. Want kids that want to be here that bleed orange n green. Hate seeing the premier 5 star guys leaving but we are loaded at WR. Competition frightens some great players. Everything football wise has come easy to them so far. Competition and teaching your back up how to win your spot is what made the U. If your afraid go someplace else. Would be thrilled to land Lane but the U doesn't seem to be in his heart. Having no obligations on Sundays afternoons won't be all bad for him. As far as Lammons goes.....meh. His highlight film just seems ok.
