Chris Hummer calls Canes DL best in the country.

He should feel the pressure. We are better than *every* coastal team. Our offensive line should go from the worst in the entire FBS to average/mid-tier, we have a kicker (Baxa cost us 2 games last year), our defensive is littered with speed and length, and most importantly- we have a game changer at QB. I believe in Lashlee but I will say, it may hard installing a brand new offensive with little practice time. Luckily we start out with 3 games we should absolutely win. I have us losing to MSU and V-Tech but something tells me there is one more loss in there somewhere...

There's promise at DT, but needs to be production. I still don't see the fast twitch DT that collapses pockets like Willis did. Maybe you're right that they'll use 3 DEs to accomplish the same outcome, but if so, McCloud/Joyner/Brooks better manage the midfield and not allow explosive plays. Much better if the DTs can get it done.

And RJ in 2017. What a great DT he was for us.

I think Jordan and Mallory stay healthy this season and ball out this year. As for the DL I think Miller, Ford, Nesta, and the young lads all play well this season. Does that get us to the best DL at the end of the year? Would be nice if someone did a preseason and post season write up to show how well the individual units did
 
I just hope our guys have been putting in the work..especially the Oline..I miss NCAA football Mannn what do y’all think out ratings would be 🤔

They looked overall at our numbers against the run against UGA who was the other choice and they were near identical (where UGA was supposed to excel) but our stuff rate and sack rate was on another level (UGA doesnt sack much). Overall the season sucked but the dline ate.

Feels good to actually have a nationally acclaimed unit, my gawd we have sucked for too long.

UGA definitely played better teams last season.

DL has been the strength of the Canes defense under CMD as HC and DC, and this is the best DL that CMD has had since coming to Coral Gables. If there are no injuries, Ford, Silvera, Miller and company will have great years. They all will be fighting to eat and push each other to earn more reps. This will be the greatest year since 2003 for the DL

Signed up 3 years ago and decided not to post anything. Don’t want to be too addicted to a computer screen. But I have been reading *a lot* of your guys’ posts over these past few years and it’s been amazing. I love RVACane, D money, El Liberty (I think that’s his name) and a few others. It’s weird seeing you guys like my stuff and comment on my posts. You guys have given me so much great info over these past few years. Thank you-

What do you guys think of Silvera for this year? Year 3 is when the superstars typically take that next step in the interior. Does he have a quick enough step to get to that elite status we thought he might coming out of HS?

His posts are insane.. so much info, straight to the point, analytical. My type of guy. There’s one guy on here who clearly posts just for likes and he gets them lol. I want to talk ball.
